Honestly, even now he still struggles processing the fact that he's suffered trauma. He still does or says things every now and then that he thinks are perfectly fine and normal, only to see how Ember and SHII react and find out that no, it's really not. As of now, he can distantly recognize that he has indeed experienced trauma - but that's about it. He still doesn't really believe it.
