Something about the cheapness of the component parts that aggregate into something with a lot of detail is deeply alluring. Something as mass produced as this should have no business being so carefully crafted, and yet...

I don’t know why. I don’t know why but I love this wretched man. My mother found it hiding in an old dusty box. She says it’s from my childhood, but I have no memory of it. All I know is that I’m never taking this silly novelty ring off ever again.

This is Frogge. He has great bulging eyes cloaked in plastic domes and I love him dearly. When you shake him his eyes rattle about in their sockets and reveal black flies printed on them. When you squeeze him his tongue unfurls like a party horn. Whenever my nephews come over to visit I have gotten in the habit of hiding him in a high place as they like to squeeze the life out of him. I’ve had to reinflate him with a syringe (twice!)
