Mirage is also fragging Rung? I thought he and Noah were about to get conjunxed and are strictly mono.

"Did they just run away, or what?"

Misfire watches the Primus' Light spiral out of its standstill and then wink away.

"Either that or it's the quietist self-destruct I've ever seen, Krok muttered, "but I don't think Rodimus of all people would actually do that."

"No signs of rust plague detected, sir," Spinister reports. "Recovered personnel: Howlback of Stanix, Brainstorm of Genitus, Overlord of Uraya. Additionally, the entire Dynobot team is defecting."

Misfire pumped his fist in the air! "Yes! I knew Grimlock would come to his senses! Is Howlback all right?"

The hesitation is worrying. "Yes," Spinister says, and Misfire knows there is something more, but not to discuss it over an open channel, even an interior one.

"All right," says Misfire, though it isn't, not really. Which brings him to the next question, where the hell are they going to put Overlord?

"Don't worry," Spinister says confidently over the sound of Misfire's swearing. "I know how that one works. It's the new plagues she keeps trying to make in the lab when Tarn isn't looking that worry me."

Howlback hears the explosion that isn't one.

Hopefully Overlord's able to move. If not--

"Swoop, we have to get out of here now."

"What was that?" Brainstorm asks--excited, perversely, as always.

"Grim's got his shuttle loose, so talk later. Move now, and keep at least three airlocks between us and the murderparty."

Krok of Styrakon is always nervous at times like these. Misfire--Flyhigh of Austerhex, but who the Pit still calls him that--is not. Overlord may be badly injured, but he's going to wake up pissed off, and Brainstorm's taking care of that right now. Then Spinister'll get him back in shape real quick.

He always knew Grimlock would figure out what an awful mistake he'd made. Never doubted it. All it took was getting Howlback on the line.

Time to make his daddies proud.

As for Deadlock, he never did trust that little slagger, and he didn't think Ravi would have trusted him either if she hadn't grown up with him. The Prime can have his aft.
