My false steeple summit at the #ulmermünster . I climbed the 768 steps of the world's tallest steeple today and videoed the whole thing at http://bit.ly/steepleclimb. It was here that I thought I was at the top but realised that there were many more stairs left! (at Ulm Minster)

#NYC may be the concrete jungle, but if you know where to look you can find a place a few blocks from Times Square to lay down in the grass and enjoy the view. #fb (at Bryant Park)

I'm in #NYC for a couple of weeks to do a photography project for a website that needs NYC neighborhood, hotel, and iconic landmarks photos. Its fun to explore the city again with my camera! Everything old is new again...like the Brooklyn bridge! #fb (at Brooklyn Bridge)

If you know me then you know how much I love to photograph abandoned places. I love the creepy feeling of despair they give off and discovering a story that is normally hidden behind all of that peeling paint. Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia certainly had a story to tell - one about isolation and repent and a story that shapes history. Read about the story, and see all the pictures in my latest blog post today. Link found in my profile. And yes there are even a few ghosts. (at Eastern State Penitentiary)

The thing that stood out to me on my first trip to #Nantucket were the buildings. An entire island of the same houses and buildings - all covered in unpainted shingles that weather to a gray color. Only a limited number of colors used on the doors, and all have pitched roofs. Strict housing regulations keep the island this way and its one of the reasons Nantucket is so popular. It's also why the island is often referred to as the "The Little Gray Lady of the Sea" #Blountadventure (at Nantucket, Massachusetts)

I woke up to a golden light beaming through my cabin window. I pulled the curtain back and saw this. I grabbed my camera, ran out on deck and enjoyed the sunrise all by myself at 5:30am. #Blountadventure (at Nantucket, Massachusetts)

An eerie day spent in prison. Poking around Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. Peeling paint, crumbling walls and lots of history as the first penitentiary that tried to reform prisoners when it opened in 1829, closing finally in 1971. #fb (at Eastern State Penitentiary)
