Some days things just don’t go your way, and that’s okay. For instance, today is a “some ants stole my mango while I wasn’t looking” kind of day for me. I know that even though today hasn’t worked out for me, there’s still a lot to look forward to. Such as learning more about ants

There’s nothing quite like a good book and a freshly made meal from the dining hall to brighten up any day. I cannot thank Lunusi enough for all the hard work she does for us

There is something really beautiful about hearing raindrops hitting the roof during particularly quiet parts of lessons. Sometimes, on particularly rainy days, I’ll have all the students take a moment to meditate to the sound of the rain before starting the lesson proper. It’s so easy to get lost in the stress of academia that you lose sight of the reason we all came to The Magaambya in the first place.
