Still shaken that this actually pretty much encapsulates my ~gender journey. Was an EARLY chapo listener, like back in 2016, and used to laugh at the “chapo has no female listener” jokes. Obsessed with this one letterbox user who seemingly is a professional (?) film critic and has seen more movies than most people but is also simultaneously the stupidest person to ever engage with art. Perhaps you don’t understand why an image of Jack is shown instead of Babette because you didn’t get to the point in the book where where Jack continuously repeats “that is the point of Babette” while asserting his opinions of what his wife should be vs. How she actually is as a human being and not just an extension of himself and object of affection. Like, please. Just think a little harder, you’ll get it, I promise.

She’s pretty infamous for her bad reviews at this point and I’m actually kind of in awe of someone who can spend and seemingly like movies so much but also not have any critical thinking skills. Literally just watching movies for the flashing shapes and colours. You love to see it. Anyways, read White Noise, it’s a great book, highly recommend
