My favorite quote from Palamedes Sextus is weirdly enough a quote from early on. Canaan House, to Judith Deuteros, "God help you when you understand."

Because by that point, even with the few keys he had and tests he checked after someone else got the keys made him understand what was being asked of him to do to/with Camilla, and he understood it was leading to a megatheorem, the Eightfold Word, and he understood that there had to be a better way.
