I came up with an AU, where Anko and Naruto leave Konoha with Orochimaru (Anko earlier, when she’s given the Cursed Seal, and Naruto later, probably when he is six or eight). I’ll probably call it Oto!Naruto or sth. I really love Orochimaru&Anko and Orochimaru&Naruto dynamics.

Why Orochimaru was terrifying:

Uncanny Valley. Because it’s an anime, the feelings can get lost a little bit, but if one takes the time to imagine what it would feel like in real life… Imagine a strange woman suddenly appearing before you. Poof! A cloud of smoke erupts and this stranger stands there as the smoke settles.

There’s something very off about this person, but you can’t quite put your finger on what it is. Their eyes… it’s almost as though something else is hiding behind that face. Something disguising itself as a human woman. They clearly don’t have good intentions towards you.

I want you to IMAGINE Orochimaru’s introduction happening to YOU in real life and tell me that’s not some Uncanny Valley shit. Because this “person” looks like a human but you quickly realize that it’s something else that disguises themselves as human. And it’s after you.

That’s why Sasuke and Sakura fell to their knees, SICK and Throwing up! It was the uncanny mixed with probably ten other genres of horror.
