i only write happy aftg posts, mostly because i hate to think about them suffering more than they already did, HOWEVER, analyzing the ramifications of the way riko treated kevin and how that would affect his relationships, specially his romantic ones, be it kandreil or Thea sounds so interesting. I know he would have some toxic af behaviors. give me your thoughts on that, please!!!!

kandreil holiday and birthdays gift exchange.

Andrew is the best at gift giving, he is always paying attention to his boyfriends and knows exactly what they need (also, kevin and neil fucked up upbringing would make then very interesting people to test hobbies on, anthropology style).

Neil just loves having fun choosing gifts (he never did this before so it’s nice), he doesn’t worry much about his choices and his gifts are often useful knickknacks or athletic gear, very sweet, very sincere.

kevin fucking hates that he is the worst at gift giving and makes it a competition (mostly in his mind, but) specially against andrew.

One year he convinces them that they couldn’t exchange gifts that could be bought.

He bakes a fantastic blackberry pie for andrew and woke up everyday for a week to go on a morning run with neil (both things were very hard for kevin to do, but andrew’s eat the whole pie in two days and neil has a blast seeing kevin struggle to keep up with him).

neil gifts andrew a whole day without a single mention of exy and kevin a 5 hour long practice session (andrew has a glimpse of heaven and kevin starts having visions of them with olympic medals halfway through the session).

Andrew owns both of them up by gifting neil a framed photo of the foxes + coach and abby (neil’s eyes well up) and kevin a picture of Kayleigh smiling and holding toddler kevin that was published in a tiny local college paper ONCE almost 20 years ago that kevin had never seen before (kevin cried with his face smushed against andrew’s stomach for 10 minutes).

neil’s argument is: andrew may be goth but he hates when people touch him and wouldn’t bite someone without consent, which is a problem when you don’t have the social skills to convince strangers to let you suck their blood by their own free will

andrew’s argument is: neil would reveal himself as a vampire to humans by mistake at the first opportunity and somehow start a vampire mob war by being a little shit

kevin chimes in saying that: he would be the best vampire because he has the people skills to lure his preys, he looks great in fancy blouses and his hickeys are so good that andrew never complains when he leaves marks *kevin points to the fresh hickey he just left behind andrew’s ear*
