I genuinely tweak when people saying Stu and Billy raped Maureen . I can’t stress enough that that is NOT what they did . It was assumed by the cops that since cotton had sex with Maureen before he ‘killed’ her — that it was forced upon her .

The thing is , it was consensual . Stu and Billy waited until Cotton and Maureen were done having an affair to go through with their plan , if they hadn’t there wouldn’t be enough ‘evidence’ to point it at Cotton had they waited BEFORE her and Cotton went at it .

They DELIBERATELY waited until Cotton walked out the house , wore his jacket that he left behind (bonus points because it helped a lot) and wore it when they killed her to frame it as him . And if the cops had ANY doubt it wasn’t him , it would be gone because of the fact she has his dna on him . It was planned and executed perfectly . Up until they fucked up at Stu’s party .
