I’m willing to bet more people die because of stupid mistakes than because of intelligent ones.

the whole tiktok situation is EXACTLY why media literacy and education on propaganda is so important. the notifications about tiktok going down and then coming back use VERY propagandistic language, and with a literal fascist coming into power in the us tomorrow we need to be even more critical of the information we’re consuming and stay on the lookout for political stunts like this

Maybe controversial, but I know some people are like “TikTok is just scrolling” doesn’t consider what it gave small businesses. One of the biggest things for me was even if I got no comments and no likes, I got to see the views and reach so easily and be able to think like wow. I could actually build something here, even as a disabled artist.

Because of the scrolling.

I found so many new small businesses and options for where my money should go versus big corporations. My Pokémon obsession was controlled by being able to watch others buy and the ones I stayed with never pressured me to but I wanted to support. And in the meantime I got to see news, or funny videos, or learning about hood trimming. Like. It was wild and didn’t only cater to the big streamers.

I’m inconsistent and have time between postings and I still wasn’t practically shadow banned from searches.

I’m super super wary about Trump and the propaganda that just happened. It’s making me think of Germany way too much. So I don’t give him credit for this because I’m watching carefully. But if I can make my business successful through tiktok I really want to try. While I felt weird doing it here.

Anyway I’m also on Bluesky for just starting out somewhere else as well. I’ll try to be more active but it’a hard speaking to my void here lol

I finished it, guys. 5 hours for the sketch, 5 for the lineart, 8ish coloring and fiddling and hoping for the best. These girls will never not break my heart now. I just want to spend more time with them.
