For Day 6 (Sunday) of @oqmovieweek.

Mamma Mia: After graduating college, Regina took a solo trip around Europe. It was there she would meet three men that shaped her life. Daniel was the first and he lost his virginity to her, before she moved on. A sailor named David helped her get to Greece and they had a one-night stand on his boat. It was on the tiny island that she fell for Robin…only to realize he had a fiancé back home. She ended things, with heartbreak but soon learned she was pregnant. Unsure of the father, she chose to not tell any of them and raised her daughter, Margot, alone.

20 years later and Margot is marrying the love of her life, Alice. She wants her father to be there, but knows nothing of who he is. She goes through her mother’s old diaries and finds a way to contact the three men. They arrive and soon learn the possibilities. Regina is flustered…especially when she realizes her feelings for newly divorced Robin never really went away (and neither did his for her).

In high school: Robert Nolan fell in love with Kate Locksley but his family disapproved. It was so bad, he ended things with her and reluctantly moved on to the affluent Ruth Shepherd. To his surprise, both girls were pregnant by the start of their first year of college. Robert chose to stay with Ruth, simply because she had more money. Kate gave birth to Robin and raised him with the help of Robert’s brother, Aslan. Ruth and Robert welcomed David, who has been raised to hate Robin. They are enemies in high school, constantly competing with one another. It only gets worse when Robin joins the basketball team that David is the captain of.

Emma and Regina have been best friends since they were 10 years old, but they begin to grow apart when Regina begins to date Robin. Being David’s ex, this pisses him off and he starts going after Robin’s best friend, the tutor girl with a sassy tongue, Mary Margaret. Little do either of these brothers realize, they’re about to fall in love and it’s going to cause nothing but drama. It may even bring them closer, as Robert goes out of his way to control both of their lives so David can be on top. But what happens when David finally stands up to his dad?

The Tale of Robin & Regina

For @oqmovieweek, a little something inspired by the Tale of Aragorn & Arwen from the Lord of the Rings. AO3 link

I did it , Robin thinks as he glances out the high window towards the people milling down below, some working on the final touches for his coronation, others already gathering to see their new King. After all those years of hardships, battles, and sacrifices, he is finally about to assume Earnur’s crown and reunite the realms of Men under his banner.

It should be a day of rejoicing, the beginning of a new Age for Middle-earth, but Robin’s heart is heavy with the memories of those who can’t be here by his side, family and friends lost to him forever. Most of all, Robin misses  her more than any other, the one to whom he has given his heart and soul: Regina, the fairest of the High Elves still living on this side of the shore.

Lightly touching the pendant she gifted him the last time he saw her, he wonders if she has already left Middle-earth, if her mother, Cora, has finally convinced her to give up on him and seek refuge and everlasting peace in Valinor. Cora Half-Elven, the Lady of Rivendell, is powerful, respected and feared in equal measure among the Elves. A distant relative to Robin, she had chosen to embrace immortality as an Elf rather than the mortal condition of his ancestors. She reluctantly took in Robin and his mother after his father’s death, recognizing that the last heir of the thrones of the North and the South could prove valuable in the fight against the Dark Lord. She never foresaw that he would capture the heart of her greatest treasure.

It was a strange day for Robin. At barely twenty years of age, and almost all of those spent in Rivendell, he had finally found out the truth about his origins: the last heir of Isildur, he was the only one still able to claim the thrones of Arnor and Gondor, but the path was full of obstacles, with the Dark Lord’s Shadow growing everyday.

He was walking in the woods, pondering his fate, recalling the stories of old, tales of bravery and glory, and imagining if his name would one day appear alongside those of revered heroes. Singing one of his favourite ballads, lost in his thoughts, he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks at the vision standing in the clearing before him. He must have fallen asleep, he thought, or all those evenings spent sitting at the Minstrels’ foot had granted him new abilities he had been unaware of until then, for he had been intoning the Lay of Luthien Tinuviel, the most beautiful of all beings, mortal or immortal, that ever was, whose love for a Man had once inspired the world and moved even the Judge of the Dead, and surely there she was, conjured up from his words.

Written for @oqmovieweek (Wednesday) 

Robin Hood-meets-Cinderella. 

After the death of his father, Robin of Locksley goes into hiding and becomes the infamous Robin Hood. He protects his family’s former tenants from the greedy nobles trying to take their hard earned coins or all their food for themselves, while also stealing to help the tenants survive. He longs to avenge his father’s death and get his family’s lands back, but just doesn’t know how to do so.

Everything changes when all the eligible bachelors in the Enchanted Forest are invited to a ball given by King Henry and Queen Cora so that their daughter, Princess Regina, can find a husband. Robin hopes to get his lands back but may end up gaining so much more than he ever dreamed.

As he works to get his big break, he also gains another goal–to romance Regina Mills, the beautiful and aloof secretary to the studio head, Leopold Blanchard.

OQMovieWeek Prompt List

Hi Guys,

So, the prompt list is finally here.

Each prompt has been assigned a genre and a short, vague summary in order to aid shortlisting.

As a disclaimer; I have not watched all these movies/series, and so the genre/summary provided may not be 100% accurate, but there should be enough there to get the general gist.

A ‘plot idea’ is an extra layer of information provided alongside the prompt; it is not a necessity to follow it, but it would be nice for the promptee :)

The prompts can be filled in any which way you choose: art, fanfic, manips, moodboards, playlists, videos... There is no limit to creativity.

The prompts can fit as closely or as loosely as you want; these are open to interpretation, genderbending, amending, and merging. They can be an entirely new universe, or they can be based in canon, the choice is yours.

A ‘Wildcard’ can be used if something comes to you which doesn’t fit within one of these prompts.
