His mouth was dry when he had finished his piece, and she responded. Her words made his eyes heavy with tears, and hands turned into fists so tight his nails made marks into the scarred flesh. He had really needed a friend right then, he was glad... so glad for the company.

"He was my Father. These hands, my hands... Zangetsu's hands... killed him." Ichigo couldn't stop his shaking, and the tears were coming down his cheeks. His voice was small and he stared at his hands, his heart and mind still, after years... didn't want it to be real, but it was. It was so real that it haunted him in his sleep, and he never got much anymore.
