It is about love, not judgement. Because we live in the new covenant.
Difference between old and new covenant is Jesus - died for our sins, that is justice. So that we can have mercy.
People/crowd seems to have a grading and relativity of sin. "I haven't sinned at the level of your sin, so I am more righteous than you"
There's a spirit that pits humans against humans. Spirit of accusation. We are so concerned about being right we have left love. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love.
Don't look and judge the sins of others, look at yourself first

Brian Johnson likes to do different business ideas, hybrid of things.
Bring praise to all that you do. Even if you fail becoming pastor, worship leader and go sell insurance, bring praise to that.

Large professional band that flows. Richness of sound layers, build up and bring down. Middle segment of solo piano accompaniment creates contrast and a different energy.
Style of Brian Johnson is more of a pop musician/celebrity/Nashville crowd, rather than a church leader. This may be why Bethel was able to link with popular culture and have global reach. Brian and Jenn Johnson provided a means to modernise Bethel.

Researching Redding, it has a population of 93,000, which is similar to the Albury-Wodonga population of 100,000. Trying to contextualise and picturing what it's going to be like, as I'm waiting at the gate for the flight to Redding.
I wonder if the people there will have a small town mentality and if that affects the teaching at Bethel.
Funnily, I don't miss being able to talk to my friend. Without her presence in my life, it's less burdensome and I can think for myself without her strong opinions looming.
I really value being able to observe people and things without imposing opinions, judgment and needing to people please. The people pleasing aspect seems to automatically come for me, if I have a relationship eg. Friendship with someone.
