Just bringing this post back to say that the parallels between Aedion and Rhys also now apply to Lidia.

We have seen Rhys' happy ending, we have now seen Ruhn and Lidia's happy endings....where is Aedion's happy ending, Sarah?

WHERE IS IT?

I'm on Queen of Shadows during my TOG reread and JUST realized that SJM basically took pieces of Aedion to make Rhysand and Ruhn.

Aedion is the protective older cousin (but really more like a brother) who always supports Aelin and will do anything for her no matter what. That's Ruhn and Bryce.

Aedion worked undercover for years to save his people, he's literally known as Adarlans Whore, exactly like Rhysand.

This explains these are my favorite characters in their respective books.

I would also spend good money to see Lidia and Rhysand in the same room.

They both acted like villains for so long and did truly awful things all to protect the people they care about. They would truly understand what the other went through, down to having to be intimate with someone they hate all to keep their cover and stay close to the enemy. I need them to sit down and have their own private therapy session 😭😭
