I have found that my neutrality on gareance to be the best thing cause it means I get to be exposed to all of the fantastic fanworks and fanarts without having to deal with any of the emotional devastation that comes with it.
Cause some of y'all are fucking evil, and I say that with love.

Emmalyn’s library is filled with books that were originally going to be burned that she ended up saving. At the time MCD took place, the printing press was a little over 50 years old, and a lot of the nobility and the clergy hated the printing press because they believed that it would threaten their power and position. Emmalyn believes that everyone should have access to knowledge no matter what class or status they are, and that's the reason she opens up a library in the first place.

The only way to be immune to advertising is to be immune to communication, somehow. To be completely cut off from all the disparate ways that people influence your thoughts. That’s never going to happen, so the next best thing you can do is be aware of common advertising tactics, who they come from and how they work.

Microsoft Office, like many companies in recent months, has slyly turned on an “opt-out” feature that scrapes your Word and Excel documents to train its internal AI systems. This setting is turned on by default, and you have to manually uncheck a box in order to opt out.
If you are a writer who uses MS Word to write any proprietary content (blog posts, novels, or any work you intend to protect with copyright and/or sell), you’re going to want to turn this feature off immediately. How to Turn off Word’s AI Access To Your Content
I won’t beat around the bush. Microsoft Office doesn’t make it easy to opt out of this new AI privacy agreement, as the feature is hidden through a series of popup menus in your settings:On a Windows computer, follow these steps to turn off “Connected Experiences”:
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options > Privacy Settings > Optional Connected Experiences > Uncheck box: “Turn on optional connected experiences”

I know none of you can live without your phone, but imagine not having a phone in the midst of genocide.
Sadly, this is the reality that @noorashour26 has had to face a couple of nights ago when her phone was stolen.
The experience was terrifying but so is the thought of navigating this genocide as a mother finding herself without the means to communicate with anyone. Her phone also had all of her son's doctors reports, referrals and prescriptions which are now lost too unfortunately.
Being disconnected is critical and we need to come together to help Noor get a new phone to stay safe and connected.
Needless to say, prices in Gaza are astronomical and a used phone is around $1,500.
Here's her campaign👇🏽 let's help by donating and sharing:
Note: Noor's old account is @noor-yashour but she lost access to it along with her phone.
