I love this question but none of the answers really feel right to me. I guess the problem is that the whole full moon thing doesn't really make sense on a scientific level. Moonlight is just sunlight reflected, so why doesn't any less intense sunlight, like a very cloudy day, trigger a transformation? Maybe bouncing off the moon does do something to alter the light that hasn't been discovered yet or maybe it is more of a magical thing. If the first, is it something unique to our moon or would any/most moons have the same effect? That should mean that as soon as they get past a point where the light side of the moon shines on them, they should be able to stay human. If it's something about the moon but not unique to the moon, then other bodies with that same quality, other moons or planets, could have the same full moon on Earth effect. That means you'd want a werewolf on the crew of every first manned mission to a new place to test it.

Alternatively, it could be something about our sun, either in combination with any moon or our moon only. In that case, any werewolf who left the solar system could stay human indefinitely if they wanted to. Or perhaps be stuck that way if they're the kind that can't change unless they have to with the moon. Humans born off world could be werewolves and not know it until they visit Earth.

If it's more about magic, then maybe what matters is what the individual believes will happen. If they think it only matters on Earth, it only matters on Earth. If they believe that anywhere a full moon's light can find them, then that's the effect it will have on them. Maybe some wolves will turn from even seeing a picture of the full moon if they're sensitive enough. Or maybe what matters is the intentions of who/whatever was responsible for the creation of werewolves. Assuming it was a force with intelligence behind it. The notion of the moon as a place a person could actually travel to wouldn't have been very conceivable to most people for much of history. Then again, the idea that the moon is so powerful that you couldn't hide from her anywhere, especially if you got closer could also drive this.

Like pretty much any aspect of how werewolves work, a lot depends on what mythology or worldbuilding you're working with.

I'll make a poll but I will also give my opinion under the cut because I have thought about this a lot!

I think it depends on where on the moon they are. It's not the moon per se that turns them but the full moon, so by that logic there is only one spot/area on the moon where they can stand and experience the moon being fully lit up by the sun and thus turn into a werewolf, anywhere where it's only partially lit up or completely dark should be safe.

I can however also be convinced that the whole full moon thing is just accidental and actually all werewolves on earth are just synced up like it sometimes happens when ppl who have periods live together, and when they go into space maybe there are space werewolves their cycle syncs up with instead.

I cannot stand the parodies of modern major general, they're overdone and simply not as good as the original. They've done them about everything, whatever topic, big or small.

And when i notice one of them my eyes will always start to roll.

The diction's always slurry when they rush the complicated words, and adding many fricatives will turn it so cacophonous. The slanted rhymes are silly and they keep just making more and more, please someone stop the parodies of modern major general.

The scanning of the lyrics in the meter is unbearable, they emphazise the syllables in ways that are untenable, in short in matters musical, prosodic and ephemeral, i cannot stand the parodies of modern major general!
