Though his breathing was steady, his heart rate would give him away, should he get too close. Sherlock stepped further into the room, still keeping his distance.
"While it wasn't terribly easy to find you, it also wasn't impossible." There was a slight pause. "Though- you are a free woman, after all. Technically speaking, you've no reason to hide."
How many times would he find himself here? Not specifically here, of course. After all, he’d never been here before, but the situation was all too familiar.
"You seem to be doing well for yourself—"

"You lot are really weird, five hundred of you following around an old man. Is this what you people do all day? Watch me talk to my sons and my wife? Weird.. dull.. ah well. I suppose I’ll say thank you.
Much appreciated,
Professor Siger Holmes”
Hello, you glorious bastards. I recently hit 500, yesterday in fact, but I put off the giveaway so that I could gather up some adequate rewards, or think some up. Siger now has 526, and I appreciate all of you were your patience, putting up with this sassy asshole for as long as you have. Anyways, here are the rules and rewards and all that stuff.
Rules:
I’d appreciate it if you were following me, otherwise the whole “follower giveaway” really wouldn’t make much sense.Â
If you reblog this more than once, you’ll be put on the list twice, but no more after that. Not consecutively on the list, either, in random spots so that it’s really fair to the random number generator.Â
If you follow for the giveaway, that’s okay, if you unfollow after the giveaway then you’re a dick, but that’s also okay. People can be dicks sometimes.
You’re going to have to be okay with giving me your address (don’t worry, I’m not a serial killer yet, I still have quite a bit of training to go through) if you win number one.
The giveaway ends on February 11th, winner shall be announced a few days following, depending on if I am busy then or not.
Rewards:
S1 Box set of Sherlock. (This still has a bit of kinks to it. I’m supposed to be ordering this tomorrow, but if it’s later than the rest of the awards, I promise I’ll try to get it to you)
The top spot on my follow forever page until I hit my next hundred, but after that you’ll be added to the list, just not the very top. Doing this for future follower giveaway reasons.Â
Promotion on my blog until I hit my next hundred.
A drabble of any character you want, or any ship you want. When I say drabble, I mean that I will do an intense study of the chemistry between your chosen pair, or your single character, and write the most detailed drabble possible for whatever prompt you use. Unless it’s a stupid prompt, then I’ll just half-ass it like you did your prompt. So really, think about your prompt before you enter it to me. Note the amount of effort I will attempt to put into this as well. I really only belong to the Sherlock fandom, so if you are a Doctor Who blog or a Supernatural blog, I will seriously just watch seasons for you and your drabble. Also, I don’t usually write smut, but if you want a smutty drabble, God help me you will need a cold shower afterwards. Promise.
I will follow you from fatherholmes, my Jim Moriarty account, my John Watson account and my personal account.
A graphic for either a single character of your choosing, or your OTP or any other character pair that you want.Â
A playlist for a single character or character pair of your choosing.
Anyways, that’s about it. I wish all of you the best of luck, and if you don’t win then I don’t love you any less, the universe was just being a dick as well as the random number generator.Â
Well then. Get to it, my glorious bastards.Â
-Mikel and Siger.Â

"Batteries-" Sherlock explained, lightly pulling his sleeve over his watch. Shaking his head, he offered a hand. "Sherlock Holmes.. And you are?" He could already hear Joan patronizing him- Well, at least you're trying to make friends. "Shhh..." Realizing he'd said that aloud, he cleared his throat.
Sebastian angled himself to see him out of his peripheral vision, still watching others in the park. Who knew what he could be or wanted? Looks couldn’t tell all, despite what people (namely Jim) would tell him. He hummed, glancing over to him, “It’s about half past eleven. Ain’t got your own watch?”

Stopping just a few feet short of the stranger, Sherlock leaned against the tree behind him and opened his paper back up. He wasn't exactly inconspicuous, but it could be worse- for example, he could've had a big blinking neon sign that said Detective. "Excuse me--" He finally spoke up, lowering the paper slightly. "Might I bother you for the time?"
Exactly seventy-three people had passed since he sat on the park bench. Most blended together in a massive blur, but a few stood out to him. One, a woman who looked nervous as she circled the fountain and a man, standing at the far end of the walking path. Sherlock wasn’t exactly sure what stood out about him, but it seemed worth looking into. Folding up his newspaper, he stood and began making his way down the trail towards the man. In an attempt to look more casual, he let his eyes wander about the scenery.

Sherlock pondered the question for a moment, knitting his brow together. It was a simple enough question, why? Why, indeed. "That's what people do isn't it? They help, lost children, pets..." The man trailed off before getting down on one knee to be closer to the boy's height. "Sherlock Holmes-" He finally said, offering the boy his hand.
Hamish chewed on the inside of his cheek as he asked the question, then ducked his head soon after he looked at the other; it was a time where eye contact unnerved him, but he couldn’t leave, not after they offered their help, for a reason yet unknown.

"Maybe I said that wrong.. Regardless, It's a mystery neither of us will ever understand, I'm sure." Reaching across his work space, he grabbed a small wrapped parcel. "Do you know where this came from? It was on my desk, when I came home. It's not a bomb, and it's not fragile- I shook it profusely."Â
