came up with the modern au this fandom deserves

henry lost his parents in a car crash, which also severely wounded him. radzig, his biological dad and a part of the family before, arrives in the city to take care of his son, but henry hates him for leaving his mom and dad. for some time henry stays with radzig, but finds a job at coffeeshop to move out as soon as possible. at this job henry meets hans, an insufferable rich dude who takes classes in the university nearby. they start with hating each others guts, but henry turned out to be the best barista in this part of the city, so peshek keeps him even with a bad attitude (which comes out of his ptsd). while the time was passing, henry and hans got slightly used to each other, and their banters became flirty and sometimes even friendly, but still not good most of the time

after several months henry got enough money to move from radzig's house, their relationship still bad. teresa, his colleague, advised henry to visit hanush, the best landlord in the area, since most of them take too much for the apartments near the uni. hanush made henry a great (and the only possible offer for his finances), but with the condition of having a roommate — his nephew who needed to learn how to live on his own. henry agreed to that, but little he knew this nephew was hans ;)

do you know what is the only thing i need from kcd2? to make henry lose himself in the anger and the need of vengeance only to hans be the only person who can lead him back to the light

it seems the hares tend to be the popular ones, so here's the first batch of the critters with a proper background. doing manuscript-y stuff has gotten easier lately, loads of refs and experience have helped a lot, now i understand how things sit, although things still look modern, mostly because vector art tends to look neater and brighter than ink on parchment. all on Illustrator.
