WARNING: This person is an absolute savage
I needed to add this in here as this made me laugh my ass off
I found myself being very impressed by the character designs and how the elements from the logo is mixed with the stereotype of cars and the car owners of said brand. This is what I tried to do with my character; have elements from the logo, stereotype of penguins and qualities from Edward Young, the first original designer of the logo.

Character Profile- Kingsley Drake
Kingsley P. Drake is a 47-year-old who enjoys reading, tap-dancing, seafood and helping others. He comes off as a parental figure sometimes or just an over-caring man and is giving, but can also be very violent and a bit secretive.

Summary
Summary 1
“The pistol never wavered, as if the gloved hand that gripped it was made of hard stone. Ellsworth was starting to regret picking today of all days to question his word…”
Philanthropist head of a publishing company, eccentric but feared head of a smuggling empire. Former Navy commander Kingsley Drake lives a double life, one of both good deeds and bad. But just as deep-rooted guilt begins to knock Drake off his game, tensions further when both the police move to destroy his business and his estranged, murderous brother seeks to add Drake’s empire to his own, by any means necessary. When the dust settles, there will be only one Emperor of London.
Considered a must-read novel, Pamment’s fresh look on crime in 1960’s London and an unnerving look into the life and times of a bad man with a good heart established her as a figurehead of late 20th century crime fiction.
Emperor of London
Summary 2
“This world is never as it seems... this country you serve runs on secrets and lies. It may seem more stable and boring than most but it’s just as dark and broken as every human-looking demon that live and thrives off it! So do yourself a favour, leave this hellhole, back to your little life in the light, solving crime and continuing tome new friends. Live as if you never heard of Me-Ah!..”
The challenges of living a double life begins to escalate as mounting pressure from both the authorities and his murderous estranged brother begin to affect Kingsley Drake and the those closet to him. The former Navy commander turned head of England’s largest smuggling racket has to contend with both outside forces working against him and his own inner demons, culminating in a climactic showdown that will shake 1960′s London to its very core. Does he still have the strength to fight for his home and will he be able to save whats left of his shattered family?
Epic Crime fiction with a surprisingly hint of family humour and moral messages for everyday life troubles

Classmate (Vaughan Brinkmen) and I planned out a rough story plan for my Character & Book cover. It started out with trying to figure out what the tilte was going to be as it would help create the book cover, so far, everyone liked;
“Blood on the Beak”
&
“Emperor of London”
Then everyone helped with coming up for a name for the character. At first, “Vector” came to me but we begin to experiment more and ended up with “Kingsley Drake” (might change it) as well as coming up names for other new characters.
Before this rough planning, I had already had an idea for what kind of character ‘Kingsley’ would be; What if the company were people? What traits would they have? What would they do or can do?
A man who is a representative of The Penguin’s book company that has been there since the start of it, 1935 to this very day as he’s not entirely human but is seen as such. Personifying the Penguin into characters. It was going to take a comedic and light approach to politics, historical & social events while educating the audience with the use of books.

How I learned to create hair
Step 1:
Make a simple basic Outline of the hair to what I want.
The airbrush tool for sketching:
Sept 2: fill in the outline with the Base Colour of your choice. I want it to be black, but because I need to add shadow (a darker colour), I went for a light shade of black (Dark shade of grey).
Sept 3: Add a slightly darker colour using an airbrush for the shadow.
Step 4: Add details with an even darker shade of the colour.
Step 5: Make a new layer and set it to “Luminosity” and use a lighter shade for the shining effect.
Clean it up.
Use the dodge tool.
And go right through the middle of the highlight so it’s beaming.
Use Blur tool.
And go over it.
Step 6: Use the Eraser and cut through the highlight from the top & bottom of it into curves.
And blur lightly over the edges of the highlight.
Step 7: Add a few hair strands in a light colour.
Then Blur them.
Ta da! That’s it.

Character Bio
It’s to get clear on the physical descriptors of your character. Like who they are and what their purpose is in your story. Know your character's main goal, purpose, motivation, and flaw.
What I want to be involved with the character:
-Edward ‘Teddy’ Young (Not as him but has many of his experiences), In 1935 he joined the then new publishing firm of Penguin Books and was responsible for designing the cover scheme used by Penguin for many years as well as drawing the original penguin logo.
-British graphic designer
-Submariner
-Publisher
-During World War II he served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve and became the first British RNVR officer to command a submarine.
-Scorpio
-Resourceful
-Eyepatch on right eye! Because on the logo, you would only see the penguin’s left side, so when he turns his head you get an eyepatch! The bad eye was the result of Edward’s submarine sinking and his escape.
-Male
-Love stories
-Has a lot of knowledge, educated.
