Maybe the desire to make something beautiful is the piece of God that is inside each of us.

Hey guys I'm still alive. August (and the beginning of September) was a really rough time for me and when I'm going through difficult things I withdraw. But I'm back now. Can't say how often I'll be here but I'm still here! Hope you're all well. <3

September Mood: dark chocolate desserts, reading XVIII century love letters, flea markets, last rose flowers, foggy evenings, long bubble baths, journaling every night, nostalgic train rides, wandering in libraries and bookshops.

The idea that Kamala Harris isn't a "perfect candidate" is flawed. Because (you can hold my hand if you need to) there is no such thing as perfect candidate because all our candidates are people and people are messy and say the wrong thing sometimes. It's hard to admit as someone whose first vote in a presidential election was for Barack Obama but the fan worship of political candidates is not a good thing. We need to remain critical, skeptical, and push them on things we feel they need pushing on.
Just recently, Harris shut down a group of Pro-Palestinian protesters at a rally and was roundly criticized in leftist circles. Last night, she got heckled again but chose to respond differently, calling for a ceasefire.
No candidate is perfect. Even if you vote for the cool, smooth guy with the brilliant and hot wife, he's still gonna use drones that kill innocent people in areas where we're not technically at war.
We need to hold our elected officials to the highest standard but when they fall short of that we don't give up on them, we push them to understand why they were wrong. If you believe something, you defend it even to the people you perceive as your allies.

According to Harris Wins on Twitter, Vice President Kamala Harris is polling even with HIM in North Carolina. Yes, we have a few months to go, but she has ALL the momentum. Do your bit for democracy!! This is huge. When was the last time we won NC? 08?
