How to save The Flash:

At this point The Flash is basically an unrecognizable show with the fluff storylines and terrible writing. In my opinion the best episodes have been when Barry is the main character and when Grant gets to show his acting skills. And although i don’t think the CW is brave enough to do it, i think the only way to save the show is a soft reboot. Make the show focused on Barry again, and make it more serious like it used to be. Season 9 could be about Barry having to find himself as a person and a hero without his family and friends. The season would leave the audience wondering what tragedy exactly happened to leave Barry alone and depressed like this. Slowly as the episodes advance we’ll find out what happened through flash backs and dialogue.

minor rant on The Flash:

-I say minor because they problems have really been going on for a while. The crossover was actually really good, and I truly didn’t expect everything that was going to happen. But ever since then, the show has just been on a downward spiral and I just want it to get better.

-What happened To Barry and Iris’s loft? It’s been completely washed out of color and emotion (just like the show recently

-Speaking of Iris and Barry they don’t exactly seem to be in love? I mean yeah they’re still married but that’s it. I remember season 4 people complained at how in love they seemed. But now it seems like the opposite

-Allegra. She‘s just most frustrating character, doing whatever she wants with CCC and nothing happens.

-Chester. ok him I actually don’t mind. His character is decent enough and he’s able to be funny without feeling fake

-Caitlin has also been bothering me. its sad considering she’s been there since the beginning. It’s just the way they’ve been writing her just feels so out of the ordinary. Her new random relationship just seems so off.

-STOP WITH THE FLASHBACKS. Every episode them seem to flash back to conversations we just heard to remind us. It’s so infuriating.

A frustrating finale to a less than amazing season

I know the reason the Flash ended this way wasn’t how the writers wanted it, and maybe they had a huge finale and cliffhanger planned, but nevertheless I was disappointed in tonight’s episode.

I’ve honestly been so disinterested in the second half of this season. At least part one had an interesting villain. And so I really hoped the finale would be something I enjoyed watching. But yet again I felt that Barry was overshadowed by the side characters and the ‘villains’.

I wanted to see more Thawne. More Iris in this episode, and more Barry. We got one moment where Nash mentions Barry acting not as he normally is, which has been mentioned occasionally this season especially with him almost killing Thawne. But two seconds later that plot line was pushed to the side.

Anyways hope everyone enjoys my rant. Let’s hope season 7 gives us something more.

The Flash Fanfic (based on the teaser)

He can’t connect to the Speedforce. Barry sits back against the wall, legs drawn up to his chest and feels the lighting crackling around him and...nothing. He needs it to work. He needs help, they all do, all the paragons. They’ve been trapped for 28 days, basically a whole month and Barry is slowly breaking down. He doesn’t mention his body is starving itself to death, or that the slowness of time passing is driving him insane. “It’s not working” Barry mutters to himself. He lets his head slam against the wall, hoping the pain might bring something. “Why is it not working?”. He can’t breath. He wants to leave, but there’s no where to go. “Barry?” Someone asks. It’s Kara asking but Sara is standing not to far behind both appearing a bit blurred by the edges when he stares at them. “Barry, are you ok?” Kara asks again, but now she’s bending down to be level with him, placing a cold hand to his forward. “He’s burning up” she says, though more to Sara than to him. “We’re never getting out of here” Barry says pushing past Kara to stand. Sara glances at her and goes in front of Barry “We will, we just got to keep going” Sara says. She looks concerned. But then again they all do. Kate is there now trying to see what is happening. “No!” Barry shouts, and now they’re all worried. “I’m done” he says and tries to get past Sara. Her hands instantly lay on his chest, trying to calm him. But Kara was right he is burning up. His face is ashen and pale, and Sara could feel the bones of his rip cage under the Flash suit. “Barry-“ she starts. “Get out of my way!” He yells and almost immediately his body goes limp, and he collapses. Sara just grabs him before Barry hits the ground.

The difference between the last time Eliot got to see Quentin and the last time Quentin got to see Eliot.  

This, these faces right here is why we’re upset about the writers dangling the potential of Queliot in our faces just to rip it away in the cruelest possible way.  

It doesn’t need any more explanation than that, their faces say enough.

Imagine if Lena decides to test her project on Kara, just so Lena can finally hear Kara say it:

Lena nods to hope: “Get ready”,

Kara flies in: “Lena, you wanted to talk to me? Well actually I wanted to talk to you first. I realize I haven’t been fair to you, and Supergirl wasn’t the only thing I’ve been keeping from you. “

Lena pauses, she holds a hand up to Hope, telling her to hold off for a minute. She wants to hear what Kara has to say.

Kara folds her arms against her chest, she’s breathing heavily and Lena can tell she’s about to cry.

Lena:” Kara what is it?”

Kara: “I don’t know really how to say this. It’s hard, and I’m scared if I say it you won’t want me around you anymore. “

Lena stares, not daring to believe this is finally happening. And just when she was going to force Kara to say it.

Kara: “I love you.”

Lena blinks, her heart is pounding.

Kara: “not just like a friend. More than that. And I haven’t like this for a long long time, maybe ever. “

Lena steps forward, trying to hide the joy that’s leeching out of her: “Kara you-“

Kara is crying now: “No, I know I shouldn’t have said anything-“

Lena grasps Kara’s hands with her own: “What? No. Kara I’ve been waiting for you to say that for so long!”

Kara stutters: “What?”

Lena leans forward slowly, trying to restrain herself. Carefully her lips meet Kara’s. And it’s more amazing than she could have hoped for. Kara’s tears mix in with her own. She’s so happy.

Then Kara collapses.

And Lena is so startled, trying to gently lower her friend to the ground. Then she sees Hope, behind her.

“Miss Luthor, even though we still have much to correct, was that exactly what you wanted?” She asks.

Lena stares at Kara’s limp form as her hand reaches out to lightly touch her lips and her cheek, still wet from tears.

She looks to Hope, then back to Kara: “Almost” she says bitterly. Because she wanted it to last. And soon it will.

Peter: [Stands outside MJ’s house with a sign that says “Prom?”]

Ned: OH MY GOD YES!!

Peter: No, tell MJ!

Ned: MJ! I’M GOING TO PROM WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND!

It's truly a blessed day to be a Killer Frost & Caitlin Snow fan. 😭🙌🏼 The promotional shots for The Flash Episode 602 and synopsis for 603 is definitely something exciting to look forward to! Plus Caitlin Frost's style this season is wicked cool!

Negative Flash

Ok here’s how I think this storyline could play out (if it happens):

-Barry gets pushed into the Negative Speed Force by Thawne

-We get about 1 or 2 episodes of Barry going full out Negative Flash, crazy and fully out of control.

-Iris and Team Flash somehow get Barry back to himself, but he still has all these new and negative powers.

-Crossover happens and Barry finds a way to control his new powers and is able to use them to save the multiverse
