#USCIS is rescinding two policy memoranda regarding the adjudication of certain petitions for #H1B #nonimmigrant classification. Highlights – • Determining Employer-Employee Relationship for Adjudication of H-1B Petitions, Including Third-Party Site Placements (Reference AFM Chapter 31.3(g)(16)), HQ70/6.2.8 (AD 10-24), issued January 8, 2010;1 and • Contracts and Itineraries Requirements for H-1B Petitions Involving Third-Party Worksites, PM-602-0157, issued February 22, 2018.2 The new guidance contained in this policy memorandum and the rescission of prior memoranda is effective immediately.

On Jan 31st, 2020, USCIS has announced a new version of Form I-9 upon approval from the Office of Management & Budget. Employers can switch to the new version immediately or can use the previous version (Rev. 07/17/2017 N) till April 30th, 2020, after which they MUST use the one with version 10/21/2019.
