NO LISTEN.
In the first sneak peak, Eddie misses his kid. In the second sneak peak, Maddie seems to want another one. The main call of the episode is a kid stuck in a well just like in Eddie Begins. Eddie Begins is also the episode pushing Eddie to change his will and make Buck Christopher's legal guardian in case he dies.
Now we know from that interview that Tommy's confession doesn’t even look like a confession at first. So what if he implies that he doesn’t WANT KIDS? Buck freaks out because we all know he wants a family. Then the call happens. Kid stuck in a well. They both think back about the will.
And in the same interview, they say that everything makes sense in the end BECAUSE now Tommy's confession holds a lot more meaning now that Buck has the will in mind.
Will reveal ensues. Maybe Buck's "major confession" IS the will.
Now will it make them break up? Maybe. Does that lead to buddie canon? I hope so 🥹
