Witchy Aesthetics
green witch: freshly pressed flowers, walking through a field of wildflowers, talking to the trees, terrariums, plants sitting on the windowsill, forest sounds
kitchen witch: cookbooks, stirring tea with intent, lots and lots of jars, herbs and more herbs, the smells of baking, tea blends swirling in jars
storm witch: lightning crackling, calling up a storm, dancing in the rain, getting excited when you feel a storm coming, checking the weather activity
dream witch: sleepy eyes, soft blankets, meditating in the mornings to remember your dreams, reality checks, sleeping with crystals under your pillow
divination witch: wearing your pendulum as a necklace, sleeping with your tarot deck, shaky hands, too many tarot decks, meditating with your tools
sea witch: jars of seawater, walking barefooted on the sand, sitting on the beach at night, missing the seashore, balmy sea breeze, seashell collection
lunar witch: setting alarms for moon phases, talking to the moon, making moon water, getting ready for the next lunar eclipse, quiet moonlit nights
spirit witch: bonding with spirit companions, feeling the presences in a room, setting out offerings, seeing shadows out of the corner of your eyes, amethyst
fire witch: a whole bunch of scented candles, the smell of incense, cosy warmth, dancing flames, jars of ashes, almost burning the whole house down
crystal witch: keeping crystals in your pockets, crystals sitting on your windowsill under the moonlight, crystalline light reflections
water witch: way too many jars, running out in the middle of a storm to collect water, carrying a jar everywhere, shower cleansing and grounding rituals
tech witch: embedding sigils in code, stereoscopic light of a phone screen, ambient soundtracks, witchy phone apps, emoji spells, digital grimoires
music witch: jamming to your tracks over a spell, shufflemancy, headphones on earbuds in, charging tools with your speakers, playlist for every occasion
urban witch: dollar stores, carrying around their magickal tools, sigils for not missing the bus or train, finding that one witch book in local bookstores
glamour witch: sigils on the mirror, rose quartz in random places, makeup bags, looking fly, youtube channels on makeup, on-the-spot glamours
closeted witch: hiding grimoires in drawers, sigils for invisibility, waiting for everyone else to go out, performing spells behind locked doors at night
art witches: moon water in your paint cup, paint-stained fingers, charmed drawing tablet, colour corresponding your art supplies, local bookshops

Something that always gives me witchy vibes is that feeling of autumn before it’s there. Like when it’s still in the 70s to 80s, but you can smell it in the air. You can feel it in the depths of the woods.

Happy Thursday everybody! I hope your day is going well. I’m in my last week of work before Band Camp starts.
Yes. Band Camp.
Anyway, you clicked on this title because you want to learn about my tattoos. So lets talk about them! I’ll tell you how much it hurt, how they compare to others, and fun stories about my experiences!
If you’d rather watch my video on this topic, click here!
Fun Fact: I have 7 tattoos from 7 artists, from 6 different shops.
  -Stars on my hip-
No picture for this one unfortunately. Sorry!
This was my first tattoo ever, so we are going to start with this one! It is five purple stars in a curve on the front of my hip, and its about the size of my palm. I got it the week I turned 18 as a birthday present from my mom. I didn’t know what I wanted to get tattooed, but then I wanted stars. I was obsessed with them at the time, I doodled them on EVERYTHING.
The pain level for this tattoo wasn’t bad. The outline stung, but the coloring felt more like pressure. The only other pain I felt was my FRESH belly button piercing the artist kept rubbing up against with his arm… but hey, I figured that was going to happen.
My dad was under the impression that this was going to be smaller than what it is. When I got home that night (I lived with my dad at the time), he wasn’t very happy with me. But the damage was already done. … sorry Dad!
  -Whales-
My second tattoo! My “tramp stamp.” I got this one done the week after I turned 20.
I don’t know if this is the second or third most painful tattoo I’ve had, but it definitely has the best scariest story.
Because of its location (right side of my lower back) I had to lean an awkward way for the artist. He started with the outline (obvi) which is a smaller amount of grouped needles. For me, going over fatty areas hurt MUCH worse than going over boney areas. Well, the artist started in a fatty area. That pain, combined with the awkard way I was leaning caused me to hold my breath…. and pass out…. falling over backward… on top of the tattoo artist.
Luckily, he caught me and didn’t accidentally stick me, but it was pretty wild. The tattoo ended up AMAZING.
  -Simba-
I was close to my 22nd birthday for this tattoo. I have always been a lover of The Lion King, and I’m a Leo, so getting Simba tattooed seemed right. Below it has the quote “Remember who you are.”
This tattoo came at a time where I was struggling with my identity, personal and sexuality. I wanted this tattoo as a reminder to always stay true to myself and my intentions. When I decided to get this tattoo, I wanted to add Simbas mane later on in life when I felt like I had everything under control and settled into adulthood. In the movie, Rafiki adds Simbas mane to the picture on the tree after discovering Simba was still alive (spoiler! But if you haven’t seen Lion King by now, what are you doing with your life). I will be adding the mane soon, as well as a MUCH NEEDED color touch up.
I got this tattoo at a friends house during a UFC party. Don’t worry, the artist was legit, everything was safe. But it’s still a fun story!
Pain wasn’t too crazy. I do wish I had gotten the letters a bit larger, they’ve run together a tad.
  -Mickey Mouse Pumpkin-
This is the second Disney tattoo, as well as the second tattoo I got for my mom!
This one has a few meanings. This is the Mickey Mouse Pumpkin head Disney has on Main Street during Halloween, just without the face. I love Halloween, I love Disney. How is my mom included? Well, she has called me “Pumpkin” since before I can remember. This tattoo is a three-fer!
The pain on this tattoo was CRAZY. The whale tattoo and this one are in the same area on the pain scale. RIBS HURT OKAY. And the artist was very heavy handed. That sucked.
  – T rex Skull-
I have a tattoo on my ribs, I can handle an inner bicep tattoo.
HA. You thunk.
MOST PAINFUL TATTOO. This one wins most painful tattoo I have yet. What instilled me to put it on the inside of my arm, I have no clue. But it’s totally worth it, and it makes people give me squeamish looks because of the location, and then they are wow’d because ITS A DINOSAUR. Who isn’t wow’d by dinosaur tattoos? Boring people thats who
This baby was so painful, the artist put some numbing spray on it about 2/3rds of the way through. My body couldn’t take much more, but we had to get the tattoo done. Instead of spraying this lovley solution on my arm, he poured it. Best. Relief. Ever.
    -3 eyed cat and shark-
This is two different tattoos but because they are so close together we are going to round them into the same section. These are both Friday 13th tattoos, and I LOVE THEM.
I got the cat first, and I was REALLY hesitant on putting it on my wrist. So far, all but one of my tattoos have been on my abdomen. This was the first real extremity tattoo.
It didn’t hurt too bad, but it did sting. The inside of your wrist is a tender area, I’m honestly surprised it didn’t hurt more than it did.
The shark, on the other hand, hurt less than the cat. The tip of the fins hurt a bit, but the rest just felt like pressure. I will eventually put more Friday 13th tattoos around my wrist, copying my wife’s Friday 13th tattoo bracelet. Thanks babe for letting me copy you!
I would LOVE to see your tattoos! Link me your instas or twitters!
Thank you all for reading, I will see you all next time!

Good day to you, where ever you are in the world! I have been so absent for SO long, picking up where I left off just feels weird. I want to re-introduce myself to you, my lovely reader! But before you read my facts, I want you to think of something CRAZY on your bucket list, and tell me what it is in the comments below! I promise you, I’ll tell you my crazy bucket list thing! If you’re new here, WELCOME, and if you’re not new here, WELCOME BACK. I appreciate each and EVERY one of you taking time to read my blog. Thank you, for realsies.
If you’d rather watch this post instead of read it, I have a video here!
So, you’re here for facts, lets start with the basics:
I am a San Diego native! I was born there and lived there until I was 25. I’m 29 now, so I haven’t been gone THAT long.
I now live in North East Florida with my wife (spoiler alert), and our dog (another spoiler alert. Oops).
I’m married! My wife and I got married in July 2016 in Tybee Island, Georgia.
I am HELLA gay (Yes, a SoCal native said “hella,” it’s okay). Sexuality is a wild ride people. Embrace it and just enjoy the ride.
I have a YouTube channel, a gaming channel, and a Twitch channel! I’ll be uploading video versions of some blog posts, as well as video exclusives. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more of me!
Glitter and sequins own my LIFE. Seriously. I wish I could be in high school again for the SOLE purpose of having a color changing sequin backpack… OR TEN. I have pillows, blanekts, and slippers that do this, and glitter follows me just about wherever I go. I’m a fairy.
We have a dog! Okay so this fact was spoiled earlier but that doesn’t make my dog any less cute! Here’s the little snore-monster.
I love snow globes. I don’t have that many, but I REALLY want all of them! I just can’t justify buying so many! They don’t have a secondary purpose, and I’m trying not to collect clutter. But I do have a couple of them!
I teach colorguard! For those who don’t know, colorguard is the flags you see with bands. I mean, it’s much more than that, but for the sake of a lengthy section, just know that it’s SUPER rad, and yes, it is a sport!
Spiders FREAK me out. I even encountered a spider in my 20 Facts About Me video!
I can’t get enough candles. I need them all. I love them because they smell good, they give the room an amazing ambiance, and I love the jars they come in!
I love collecting crystals. I have several including amethyst, different quartz and rose quarts, and obsidian, just to name a few. Let me know if you want me to talk more about these lovely crystals!
I’m an August baby which makes me a Leo! I usually don’t see myself as a Leo, but then I do silly Leo things, like I NEED to win Monopoly.
Definite Leo, you guys. #totesaleo
The beginning of my day isn’t when I wake up in the morning. I know, I know… it sounds weird. But my daily schedule is kinda wild, and it works better for me this way. It’s helped me break up tasks differently. I explain a bit more in my 20 Facts video!
My hobbies change CONSTANTLY. I pick something up, learn the basics, either get bored or frustrated and then move onto something else. (See, more Leo traits! It must be true!) I’ve had several hobbies this summer ALONE. I’ve picked up drawing and sketching, watercolor, streaming on Twitch, yoga, and blogging… all since the end of May! I can feel my hobby needs shifting again, but I need to learn how to be more consistent in blogging and YouTube. I’m trying!
I switched to the iPhone after having the Galaxy series for 8 years. And you know what? The transition wasn’t that hard. I went from a Galaxy S8 to the iPhone X and I figured it out within a day and a half. I’m still learning, I’m no pro by any means, but I really am enjoying my iPhone! Samsung is still amazing, but it was time for a change.
Like I said earlier, I picked up drawing and watercolor recently. I’m not good enough to where I want to share any work yet, but I’ve been thinking about doing some creative streams on Twitch, or do speed drawings on my YouTube channel in the future. Let me know what you think!
I have 12 piercings and 7 tattoos. My most recent was a shark. I also have a T-Rex skull. Nerd
I love to garden! I love being in the garden with (sometimes) bare hands. It feels more natural and I like feeling close to Mother Earth. I hadn’t made time to garden this year, as the time to prep everything is BAM in the middle of our winterguard season. Maybe next year I can garden again! If you want to see last years garden, click here!
My crazy bucket item thing is…… drumroll…..I want to cage dive with Great White Sharks.
Yes, I’m crazy. Yes, you can come.
Sharks are evolutionary perfection. Natures’ perfect machine. So complex, yet so simple.
20 fun facts later and I feel like we are closer already! Stick around, read some past blog posts! If you want to stay connected, follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram (link on the right), or even subsrcribe to my YouTube channel! I love talking with readers and viewers! Thank you so much for reading, and I will catch you all next time!

#Adulting: 3 Important Tips To Get (And Keep) Your Sh*t Together
#Adulting: 3 Important Tips To Get (And Keep) Your Sh*t Together
Tumblr media
Life was easy before adulthood. Most of us didn’t have to keep track of life the way our parents needed to. We didn’t have worry about bills, work, dentist appointments, the welfare of our siblings, or the countless other things adults have to worry about. All I had was school and the extracurricular activities I was in at the time. Easy huh
When I was a teenager I, like many teens, wanted…

April Instagram Roundup
It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Life will catch up with you quick, and life will pass you buy if you don’t sit and watch for awhile.
Every once in a while, I like to go back and see what adventures I’ve posted on my Instagram, just to remind myself what I’ve been up to. As if I could forget.
Here are some things I was up to in April! Head over to my Instagram if you want context behind these…

How To Enchant Items
You can enchant just about anything, given the right amount of energy. I like to use symbolism (I.E., I enchanted a pen so that when I wrote with it, inspiration would linger and I could write more.) when enchanting things.
Here is a step-by-step how-to on enchanting.
Step 1: acquire the item.
Step 2: plan it out. What is your intention? What do you want this magick item to do for you?
Step 3: begin channeling energy from your source of choice into your body.
Step 4: hold your hands hands/wand/mouth/whatever you use to channel over the item and begin pumping it full of energy and intention.
Step 5: keep it where you know it will be useful.
And that’s it. It’s fairly easy and depending on the item, pretty quick too!

Victims of the Douglas High School shooting (14 Feb. 2018)
‘‘… History remembers the killer’s name and rarely does history remember the name of the victim, … Everyone should read the names and look at the faces of the people who lost their lives that day… Take a moment to remember them…’’
