⚡ Zenitsu is facing the same issue he already had earlier. He has no job and is technically too young to get hired somewhere full-time at least. He does hold the keys and starter cash to open his own business but… technically the issue remains the same. Besides, he is lazy. Opening his own business means a lot of work. He’d have to work his ass off to get customers. And coworkers. And, he has no idea what kind of business to start in the first place. Something with flowers sounded like a good idea, back then. But on hindsight? He slaps the key on the table.
“UGH!! What was I just thinking when I spent three hundred stars on a stupid enterpreneur kit?! There’s absolutely NO WAY I can run a business alone!!”
Some things never changed; in this case, the rowdiness of some of the city’s residents. Not that she was complaining, it reminded her of home and past visits to the city had taught her that most of those that were loud where just her kind of people.
“Hm?”
“I’m sure you will think of something, don’t you have a dream job?”
“Or you could open a fish shop,” added the blue cat in her arms.

“Woah. Haven’t seen a robot that advance before.” kidding, he got his clint eastwood style personal cyborg on demand, well he used to until some time dragon ate up everything. honestly its a bit confusing. He’s noticing all this from above them, sitting on a elevated bench.
Drakken joe. Sakura cosmos number one criminal, well former now that he isn’t there.
There was no doubting that voice. Her memories about the terror he had caused her was still raw, despite her knowing he was locked away where he could do no one anymore harm.
“D-Drakken Joe....”
Automatically she took a step back. Rebecca’s mind was too clouded to notice that he was younger and not referring to her by a number. Nor did it cross her mind that the city also had a habit of plucking people out of different points of their lives.

“I am 99.9% sure it’s around here.”
“I don’t think you know where we are Rebecca.”
Answered the blue cat by her feet. It had been sometime since she had been in the city, could she really be blamed for getting lost?

he let out a withering groan at the names paraded out– linked to the mafia via daemon spade, what a joke.
“oh, my poor dear. you’ve been dragged into the mafia. a shame, but you’re old enough to make your own choices– you’ll have to be killed with the rest of them, i suppose. i have no sympathy for sympathizers.” lambo, of course, didn’t count in the rest of them, but establishing a dangerous aura meant no asterisks. let her believe him a toddler-stabber.
“and you’ve really chosen some of the worst to engage with– daemon spade, and even hayato gokudera. cut from the same cloth, pretending the mafia can be used for good while ignoring the bad it already does, or even celebrating it. you either have disgusting taste, or you’re easily fooled.” a sigh, a ‘what can you do’ shrug. “well, if you must mingle with the worst, do tell hayato that i can still possess him whenever i please. i worry he’s outgrown the nightmares by now.”
It was safe to say that Rebecca considered Gokudera her best friend within the confines of Spirale and she was also very fond of both Dino and Lambo. His threat was enough to trigger that age old power of friendship courage with her and any concern for her own well being was instantly overwritten.
“I won’t lie, I don’t trust Daemon Spade and I’m not so naive to think that the mafia is a pure thing,” Most of her understanding had come from movies or video games.
“But I know Gokudera and the others enough to know they are good people and I won’t stand by while you threaten them. I don’t know what your problem is but yo lay a finger on them and I will make you pay.”
Rebecca deliberately held her tongue about the knowledge of his ability to possess her friend, simply because the idea terrified her and it had taken all her nerve not to waver.

Even though Rebecca had lived in the city before, she still found herself getting a little lost from time to time. It didn’t help that Spirale was bigger than any city she had been to before - and she had visited her fair share.
“Excuse me,” Rebecca greeted, “do you happen to know where this cat cafe may be?”
As she asked, the blonde held a bright and cutely decorated leaflet up for the other to read, all the while wondering why the young woman seemed to remind her of someone.

normally mukuro wouldn’t spill his whole deal to someone he wasn’t villain monologuing to, this was hardly the dramatic situation he preferred, but this had become a matter of honor! of pride!
“i am an immortal that has conquered hell, with all its power at my fingertips.” well, usually. “demons live in fear of me, and so does that sniveling rodent. there isn’t a word for what i am, and you should hope one is never needed.” far too dramatic, the girl hadn’t even done anything wrong, really– a misunderstanding. but mukuro could be forgiven a little dramatics in the face of such insults.
Having already found herself on the wrong side of a demon within the city already, Rebecca was in no hurry to put herself in a similar situation - even if he didn’t look as imposing as Vergil.
Her discomfort was obvious and she didn’t even try to hide it. Of course, there was the possibility that he was full of it, but without her weapons to hand she didn’t want to chance it.
Still, it was hard to imagine someone as composed as the Daemon she had met would be so easily intimidated, or at least to the point that it was obvious. He had seemed very confident in his power - it then occurred to her...
“Oh, wait, does that mean you also know Gokudera, Dino and Lambo?”

Keeping a cool head, that was the key. Not easy when a young silver tabby was balancing precariously on the branch of a cherry blossom tree that over hung one of the parks streams.
“Hold on kitty, I’ll get you down.”
The question was: How? The branch was also quite young and Rebecca didn’t fancy her chances of climbing up and along it in an attempt to reach the feline. There had to be an answer, she just had to figure it out before the cat tried to get itself down.

“Excuse me, do you have a moment?” Rebecca asked, approaching the stranger, blissfully unaware of their mutual connections and his status as a detective.
“This may sound a little strange but, have you seen a talking blue cat around the city at all?”
She seemed to know it was an odd question. Or rather, the reactions she had received from others that she had asked had made her aware that what she was asking was rather strange - despite their current situation.

“d..” first of all, how, second of all, how dare. “you’re comparing me to daemon spade? you look at me, a perfectly handsome young adult, and you see that little rat made of sin and bad taste? you– no, this won’t do–” he was getting huffy, the comparison had come out of left field from a total stranger and caught him off guard, but he regathered his poise. “spade is a ghost that refuses to move on, i am something much older, and much worse. spade may as well worship me.” copycat.
Considering she had made the remark about their similarity, which to be fair, wasn’t as striking as she had made out. They carried themselves differently from each other - and so far, Mukuro had not made the alarms go off in her head as Daemon had, the fact that he did indeed know the first mist guardian seemed to be a surprise.
“A ghost huh....” she mused thoughtfully, her mind processing twenty different things at once. She would never have guessed he was a ghost, she had been thinking more along the lines of a vampire considering they had had tea together.
Looking back up at him, she seemed a little amused by his last sentences. “So what, you’re a demon?”

“It wasn’t by choice! It was just where I collapsed. All I remember is napping, the ride, then that’s it! I can’t help the timing, so lay off ya annoying twerp!” This was probably going to go on forever at this point, but he wasn’t about to back down from this. He was completely innocent here! If only he had Sven or Ev- never mind. They wouldn’t defend him at all. Some friends.
“I make phone calls with phones. Simple phones without fancy apps, buttons, and the works. I don’t need E-Mails, either. In fact, Sven usually takes care of all that. I’m mostly into hunting my bounties and collecting the cash followed by a victory dinner which I’m getting no-where close to right now with you in my way.” A reminder all the sudden he needed to find a job. Did this city have anything to do like a Sweeper? Be nice to catch people. … Wait, he needed his special ammunition. He had some from his prior stay before, sure. He didn’t have anyone to replenish the goods. This was getting worse.
He may as well have slapped her in the face for the look on her face as he called her an ‘annoying twerp’. She resisted the urge to retaliate, biting the inside of her cheek to stop herself snapping.
“Well, unless I’m mistaken, ‘Sven’ is not here. Maybe you better learn to use one.” Maybe she was giving him some advice, maybe she was being snarky and a little mean or maybe it was a mixture of both. Whatever it was, she did believe that he wouldn’t survive long without being able to use the technology.
Much of what he had said made a little sense. She knew what a bounty hunter was though he didn’t quite fit her idea of what one should look like or even act like. Oh why did he have to mention dinner......
Stepping closer, she sniffed him before stepping back once again.
“You don’t smell of alcohol, why would you collapse?”
