Mlny from Royal Thunder, with Mutoid Man, and the host of Two Minutes to Late Night... covering Wrecking Ball.   Holy hell does Mlny ever destroy here!   Can’t stop listening to it.

Have to be honest, If I’d ever heard this song before... I didn’t really remember it,  or the artist singing it.    Both are fantastic!      Discovered via the new Tales from the Tour Bus show, produced by Mike Judge.  Yes, the Beavis and Butthead Mike Judge.   He compiles interviews, video footage, or simply just recreated events, using a rotoscoped animation style his fans will be used to.
The subject of each show, is an old Country artist..  Johnny Paycheck, Jerry Lee Lewis, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Billie Joe Shaver, Waylon Jennings. and Blaze Foley.   Through interviews with friends, family and industry folk... it’s amazing to discover and learn about a different time in the industry.   Almost all the stories in the show, much like a country song, have some real bad stuff happening to characters... some are alive, some are dead now...    Anyway, it’s an EXCELLENT show you should go watch right now, if you are interested in some of these old country heroes, their back stories, and learning about some insider stuff you might not already know about!

This is the third Mutoid Man + XXX collab thats happened on “Two Minutes To Late Night”... a bit of a comedic metal focused show I’ve seen on youtube.   Anyway, this is Royal Thunder lead singer, MLNY Parsonz, absolutely destroying an old Miley Cyrus song... in the most brutal way possible.  It’s excellent!

Princess Chelsea and band, doing a wicked Sabbath cover!   I like the contrast of hearing her do this.. vs.. the type of dreamy atmospheric pop that made up most of her Cybernetic Depression record (sadly I haven’t snagged her latest one yet!)

Another track from the Dine Alone Winter 2016 sampler.  Clearly I’m a little behind on some stuff... but hey, good choons is good choons.   And this one is good. Cloudy, electronica, good vocals and beat, radbad. The sampler this comes from, is FREE! https://dinealonerecords.bandcamp.com/album/winter-sampler

Super earworm!   I’ve had Courtney’s last album on my bandcamp wishlist for a while now... dig her stuff...  Kurt, I’d never listened too...  together though, oh boy.  If this track is representative of the album they’re dropping come October, it’s going to be epic!

Great 80′s love song with an electronic/dance vibe.   For some reason this became very popular amongst my friends in the early 00′s.   Memories.  :)

Just recently unearthed an old binder of audio CDs I had in storage... one of them was a CMJ New Music Monthly sampler from April 1995!   You see, back before the internet, there weren’t many ways to discover new music... CMJ was a monthly magazine that came with an audio CD in each issue... featuring some major label bands, indie stuff, just an all around great mix. I have special memories of this particular CD (The April 1995 edition).   This was one of the standout tracks on it!

I had forgotten all about this song... when a venture down a youtube rabbit hole today got me onto some japanese acoustic guys... then suddenly Andy’s name popped back in my head.   He was one of the first acoustic virtuosos of this era I really dug!
