I've had Lear stuck in my head. My favorite bit, you know
the "Lets away to prison" speech that Lear makes to Cordelia. I always thought he knew at that point that they were gonna eat it real soon. He knows they aren't going to sit in a jail cell. But he still tries to make the promise of an afterlife to his daughter, who's so much stronger than him, and wants to fight back. It reminds me of when you told your teacher that the end of that Robert Frost poem was about a man contemplating suicide, then deciding not to do it. I wasn't there, so I don't remember, but you do. She didn't believe you. I think they're similar in that regard. They might not have been written in the way that we interpreted them, but they're much sadder and more powerful when considered from our standpoints. I don't know why. I get it in my head sometimes.

Wait, so had life handed you a jeffery and now you’re passed out? Or is that white thing you’re stroking a furry wall? Explain yourself! Also, I’m sorry I didn’t get my photo up on time- I was tired and it was 5:00 AM. It’s going up now. Be warned- it’s boring, but it’s all I could do after 15 hours of yellow-polo-shirted numbness.
