sluttiest thing a man can do is look like an evil male model showing off what the fashionable college-age villain is wearing to Harvard this year.

i think the reason why the assassination of Julius Caesar is one of the funniest political assassinations is for this very simple reason:
1 guy stabs 1 guy: not funny. that's murder.
2 guys stab 1 guy: even less funny. that's two against one.
60 guys stab 1 guy: uproariously funny. why do you need so many guys.

Do u still have that height chart u made of all the characters? Im trying to find references, no prblem if u dont!!!
You might be referring to my old one, but this is my updated one! Forgive the hastily doodled on clothes - this is also my body type/scar/tattoo/etc/general ref sheet, and while I've posted it without the colors before, it feels weird posting it with colors cause for some reason then it looks like theyre all naked, lol. Ref sheets are funny that way. So doodled on clothes it is.

one of the hardest parts about being a demigod that isn't talked about enough is learning how to blend in with mortals. yeah, you look the part. but can you act the part? case in point in cotg when percy reveals he has to consciously swim slower when around mortals. but what about annabeth who has to physically retrain herself from engaging in a fist fight bc she knows she can clock them easily and can't afford to get expelled again. or grover who carries iron pills because he can't just chomp on a soda can during gym class. the implications of demigods actively downplaying their god given abilities so they can remain hidden is a concept worth exploring.

no suspense, foreshadowing, buildup, or ominous vibes in this show. nothing feels like it has weight. like this is supposed to set up a series-long conflict with kronos. I hate how percy was just like "it's kronos" like omg. so anticlimactic. kronos is supposed to feel like a major threat. when annabeth starts to put the pieces together, she doesn't even want to say it. the revelation should have been built up with some effort like damn

Annabeth: I, a child, had to earn Thalia’s love, that’s how the world works! I have to earn my moms love. Love is transactional, you gotta be worthy of it first silly :)

is there any actual evidence of annabeth being a bookworm? i see people on various social medias characterize her as one but I sincerely can't recall her ever canonically reading a book except maybe the one about architecture in TLT
#i feel like its refreshing to have a smart character who's not interested in literature#but i could also be misremembering#annabeth chase

a) the point of luke’s character was never to hate him
b) the whole first book is more or less about everyone fawning over how beautiful luke is
”how are we supposed to hate luke castellan when charlie looks so good!?!?” my god did yall even read the books

My thoughts exactly. Without the context from the books, he seems more like a comedic relief than a horrific, rancid abuser. I hope that they'll have him show his true colors later on.
My only complaint about the Percy Jackson tv show is how gabe was presented. I understand that it’s a tv show aimed at kids so that puts limitations on how much they can show but that Doesn’t mean they can’t have him be the worst person to exist, they will probably change thing a and reveal more later but gabe Doesn’t feel like the walking human cesspool he should.
