Hey so this is my first one shot and I know the end is kinda rushed but I hope you still like it. Also this is my first time posting on tumblr so yeah I still gotta figure all of this out. (Also please note that english isn’t my first language)

Henry and you met seven years ago on set and were best friends and inseperable ever since. You know everything about each other and you can’t imagine a life without him. But there is one problem… for 5 years now you had feelings for him, but you never had a chance because he was in a relationship. But a year ago- finally- his girlfriend left him. You saw your chance but didn’t want to act on your feelings too soon. A few months ago you started to drop hints but Henry didn’t seem to be interested in you.

You looked into your car mirror one last time before heading into Henrys house. “Okay. This is the last time I’ll make hints towards him. If he’s still not interested I finally have to get over him.” You took a last deep breath before leaving your car, making your way to his entrance door. >>Oh god I’m so nervous. He’ll know something is wrong… I have to calm down somehow.<< You took another deep breath, rang the doorbell and put on a smile. The door opened and there he was. The guy you had a crush on for so long. “Hi love.” He immediately pulled you in for a hug. You could feel his muscles undend his shirt and hear his heartbeat. He let go and stepped aside so that you could enter his home. “Everything alright?” “Yeah sure! Everythings great. Just a little bit exhausted from work yesterday but it’s fine.” you answered him but without even looking at him again. He followed you into the living room where you threw yourself on the couch. He went into the kitchen, which was right next to the living room. You could even say it was basically one room because there were no doors. Henry went to the cupboard and grabbed himself a cup. “Do you want anything darling? Tea? Or maybe coffee? Or anything else? I also have some cookies if you’d like.” “A cup of tea sounds great! And if you have those chocolate chip cookies you know I would never say no to them.” Both of you laughed and he made some tea and brought you your favorite cookies. “Thank you. Could we maybe watch a Horror movie today?” He looked at me very confused and raised one eyebrow. “But y/n. You hate horror movies.” “Yeah you’re right I do. But I have this deal with my sister. If I watch the Conjuring she’ll go shopping with me and she’ll pay. So I thought we could watch it together so that I don’t have to be alone.” “Okay. If you really want to watch it…” he grabbed the TV remote and turned on Netflix. >>Okay good. I think he believes me.<< Henry turned on the movie and you grabbed the blanket so that you could hide behind it as soon as it gets scary. After about 45 minutes there was one really scary scene. You screamed and hid behind the blanket. Henry stopped the movie. You lowered the blanket and looked towards him. “Sorry.” you whispered. “No worries love. Come here.” He opened his arms and you scooched over on the couch and laid your head onto his chest. He pulled you into a tight hug and then proceeded to continue the movie. The movie was still quite scary and there were some more jumpscares but you felt really safe in his strong, muscular arms. After the movie ended you decided to order some pizza, which you then ate on his couch while watching The Big Bang Theory to calm down.

After you finished your pizza you scooched closer to Henry again- hoping you’d be able to somehow get closer to him this evening. You hated being just friends. You wanted to be his girlfriend. You looked at him and started smiling because you loved seeing him invested in something. He turned his head and looked you right into your eyes. “What’s up darling? Anything wrong?” You felt your cheeks turning red so you stood up and put away the pizza boxes. He stopped the show and followed you into the kitchen. Henry grabbed your shoulder and turned you around. “Hey y/n. What’s the matter today? You’re acting kind of strange.” “No…nothing. Everything’s fine.” You tried to go back to the living room but Henry blocked your way. “I won’t let you leave till you tell me what’s wrong. You know I’m always here for your love. Your my best friend.” you sighed “yeah. That’s the problem.” “Y/n what do you mean that’s the problem? We’ve been best friends for seven years now and now you tell me that’s a problem? I…I don’t really understand…” “I like you Henry okay? I’ve had this massive crush on your for YEARS but I’ve never acted out on it because you had a girlfriend. But now since she broke up with you over a year ago I’ve been trying for these past months to figure out if you like me too.

But apparently you don’t and it’s just really difficult for me to get over you… so I told myself that today I’ll try one more time tonight before I give up. That’s the reason why I suggested this movie. I was hoping to somehow get closer to you.” You looked down at your feet. Nervously fidgeting with your hands. Henry put a finger under you chin and made you look at him. “Oh y/n. I’m so sorry. I thought you just wanted to be friends. I’m really sorry for being so stupid and not seeing your obvious signs. You know. I like you too. A lot actually. But I was too scared to act on my feelings. I didn’t want to lose you. You mean everything to me.” “you….you like me too?” “Yes.” He came closer to your face so that you were only a few inches apart. “I’ve had this huge crush on you for a while now y/n.” and then he kissed you. You closed your eyes and kissed him back. His lips were soft and everything felt better than you’ve ever imagined. It felt like the butterflies in your stomach went crazy. Henry laid his hands on your hip and you just melted into his touch, putting your hands behind his neck. After a while you pulled apart and he put his forehead against yours- both of you breathing heavily. “Wow” this was everything you were able to say. You had dreamt of this moment for years and you were still shocked about the fact that you kissed. Henry caressed your face and kissed you again. “I’ve been waiting forever for this.” he whispered. “I’ve been waiting for way longer than you.” You looked at him and raised an eyebrow. He laughed. “You’re right. I’m sorry. What can I do to make this up to you?” You looked at him with a mischievous grin on your face. “Oh no. What do you have on your mind?” Henry looked slightly worried. You still had your hands around his neck so you pulled him down so that his ear was right next to your mouth. “I want you to kiss me. I want you to- someday- gift me the best night I’ve ever had. Make me scream your name. But most importantly make me feel like a princess.” You pulled away and looked into his eyes. He grinned. “Oh darling that won’t be a problem.” Suddenly he picked you up from the ground and carried you bridal style to the couch where he sat you down softly. He picked up the blanket, sat down right next you and put the blanket over the two of you. He grabbed the remote, put his arm around you and then looked at you.”Alright darling..excuse me-princess- what do you wanna watch for the rest of the evening?” “I’d love to continue watching the Big Bang Theory.” “Your wish is my command m’Lady.” You giggled and then cuddled into his arms while the both of you then watched some more episodes. You did not notice that you fell asleep, but you woke up from Henry carrying you up the stairs and then him laying you onto his bed. He took off his shirt and then laid down right next to you. He pulled you into his arms and you fell asleep again. In the morning you woke up, your head laying on Henrys bare chest, your hand right beneath on his sixpack. Henry was still asleep so you decided to go downstairs to make some breakfast. But first of all you went to his closet and took out one of Henrys shirts and a pair of his shorts. You went to the bathroom were you took of your clothes and put on the ones you just took from Henrys closet. Then you went downstairs into the kitchen. You took out a pan, a spatula and all of the ingredients you needed to make pancakes. While you were making breakfast you danced a bit and silently hummed a melody. You didn’t even notice that Henry came downstairs and into the kitchen. Suddenly you felt two hands and your hips. “Good morning sunshine.” he said to you in his raspy morning voice. You turned around and he kissed you. His hair was still messy and he was only wearing some shorts. “Did you sleep well love?” “Never better. I felt like on cloud 9 sleeping right next to you.” he smiled and gave you another kiss. Then you turned around again to finish the pancakes.

*a few years later*

You and Henry have been in a relationship for almost two years. Everything was amazing and you were really happy. Due to both of you being actors it could happen that you didn’t see each other for months but you tried to make the best out of it and tried to call at least every two days. It was the end of June and both of you were and set again and you were looking forward to finish filming because afterwards you and Henry would fly to Cozumel an island which belongs to Mexico for some vacation. Both of you tried to finish all of your scenes as fast as possible and you texted everyday chatting about the things you wanted to do on your vacation. Your last vacation was nine months ago so you desperately needed one and were really exited to finally see Henry again. A few days later you finally had your last day on set. You were currently wrapping up the last scene, when you suddenly heard a very familiar voice. “Hello darling.” You immeadiately spon around and there he was. “HENRY!” you excitedly called out while running straight into his arms. He hugged you tight and gave you a kiss on your head. You then pulled away and kissed him. “oh my god I’ve missed you so much.” he whispered right between two of your kisses. “I missed you too.” Henry pulled you into another hug. You laid your head on his chest and just enjoyed finally being close to him again. You stayed like this for a while, until the director came up to the both of you, asking if you could seperate so that you could finish filming this one last scene. You pulled away from Henry, apologized by the director and went back to where you were before. While you were fiming, Henry went into your trailer and waited for you. After about two hours you were finally done with filming and you were allowed to leave. You went into you trailer only to find Henry asleep on your couch. You giggled, grabbed your blanket and put it over him. You gave him a little kiss on the cheek and then went outside again to grab some food. When you came back about half an hour later Henry woke up. As soon as he saw you he smiled. “Here babe I got us something to eat.” You showed him the bag and then started to put the food on some paper plates. “Thanks darling. I’m really starving right now. That’s exactly what I need.” You smiled at him and then gave him the plate with his food and a fork. After dinner you packed together all of your things and drove to a hotel close to the airport. You went to sleep pretty fast after you arrived because you both were very exhausted and tired. At 8am your alarm went off and after cuddling a little bit the both of you got up and got ready for breakfast. After breakfast at about 10am you made your way towards Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. You checked in, went through security and then you were waiting for your gate to be announced. While waiting you talked about work and went through your vacation plans again. Then your gate was finally announced so you went to the first class lounge, ate something and relaxed a bit before it was time to board. The flight lasted 2h 30 and was really chill. You and Henry held hands and watched a movie together. After you arrived you rented a car to get to your hotel in Cozumel and just in general to be more flexible during your stay. From the airport to your hotel it took you 15 minutes. The street was right next to the ocean as well as your hotel. You booked a suite in the El Cid La Ceiba Beach Hotel with an ocean view and breakfast included. After you checked in and brought your luggage into your suite you two decided to go for a little walk on the beach. You put on a white summer dress and Henry wore some shorts and a white shirt. As soon as you arrived at the beach both of you took off your shoes and then walked hand in hand along the coast. You were on the walk for 1 ½ hours and on your way back to your hotel you kept your eyes open for a restaurant. You find a little restaurant directly at the beach called “Le Cap”. The food was amazing and you had a table directly on the beach and you were able to watch the sunset.

After you had dinner you went back to your hotel and watched a little bit of TV before you went to bed. During the next few days you had an amazing time and you were able to explore the island a bit. You found a very beautiful beach called “El Cielo”. Henry and you went snorkeling together and the underwater world was really beautiful and impressive. Two days before you left you went again to “Le Cap”. After you finished your dinner, Henry grabbed your hand and led you to the beach. You were watching the sunset when Henry suddenly grabbed your hand again which made you turn around only to find Henry kneeling in front of you. “Y/n. You’re the love of my life. We’ve known each other for almost ten years and you're not only my girlfriend but also my best friend. And over the past two years I’ve realized more and more that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So… Will you marry me?” Right after he started talking, you started to tear up and as soon as he finished talking tears were streaming down your face and you had the biggest smile ever on your face. "omg, yes!" He immediately started smiling and put the ring on your finger. He then stood up and you fell into his arms and started kissing him.

A few months later the two of you had a very beautiful wedding on the Maledives at the beach. Only with your closest friends and family.
