finally watched the final episode of AOT and…oh my god??? Like I know it’s old news at this point but it’s so beautifully done! And some of the characters really stood out to me, like Annie and Pieck…ngl I didn’t use to care for them so much but they really were just some of the most compelling, complex and powerful characters I’d ever seen. Especially Pieck when she’s hopping out of her titan body over and over and telling Jean she’ll keep going until it’s over, like holy shit I’m in love. Also, there were some unexpected and hilarious little moments, surprisingly mostly from Armin—the little shit. And ugh, Reiner, my beloved, you deserve more screen time, but I will make do for your constant wishing for death and horse jokes.
