my girlfriend is flying up from florida to spend a month with me in illinois in 8 days on june 15, and we just found out that the airline she’s flying charges out the ass for carry-on as well as checked bags

not to mention we’re both poor and until my food stamps card gets in next month we need money for food

you have two routes you can take: COMMISSION FORM or HOURLY RATE

commission form prices range from $3-$95 and the price is built by exactly what you want. there are no backgrounds and fanart for fandoms i’m not into/don’t want to draw costs extra.

for commission forms, i’ll need the money upfront

on the other hand, hourly rates are more complicated but get you anything you want for $20 an hour. every additional character is +$5/h (so 2 characters is $25/h, 3 is $30/h, 4 is $35/h, etc), and i don’t do rape or scat. gradient or very simple backgrounds are my usual fare, but as long as you pay me i’ll try for more difficult backgrounds.

for hourly rates, i’ll need half the projected amount upfront

He was.. disappointed, but understood if things were becoming too crowded. The two of them weren't like the other lovers anyways. Not as close to Al or Bee as Phin or East or anyone in the house, really.

"How is it?" He asked, eating his own linguini.

"As much as I’d like to say with us, I feel like I might be reaching my own limits very soon. I know Phin met his months ago."

Bee didn’t say anything about that comment, but she knew what Al was feeling. Phin’s comments about how the house was turning into a hotel sometimes hurt even her, and she knows it hurts Al. Phin always phrased it as snarky half-jokes while being half serious, and she didn’t think Al ever really let him know how much those stung.

Al had bought the house for the specific reason of filling it with happy partners and friends.

She looked down at her plate and assessed the filet mignon, cutting into it and making a small bite on her fork.

Sweet god it was delicious.

"Alright. I'll wait then." He smiled. 

Surprisingly, the food came then, being set in front of them. The portions were decent, considering the prices, and the food was presented nicely. 

James thanked the waiter and looked down at his food, picking up his fork.

"What about the two of you, though? Would you... want us to live with you or simply nearby?"

"We’ll ask everyone once Phin’s back."

"Ah. Well, I suppose we could wait. But I only want to be there if everyone else is alright with it..." He said, "And I don't want to intrude. And, of course, I don't want to cause it to be too crowded if you are already needing additions."

Al chewed his lip ring for a moment. “The house is…we’re full. Ten people staying there currently, eleven if you count Phin, and while Roxy and Garrett aren’t permanent residents, they’re sticking around for a while, and some people are doubled up for sleeping as it is.

"But I’m going to get some additions put on so the baby has their own room, and I’m going to ask everyone else in the house about suggestions for other things. More bedrooms will probably be a thing.

"So really it comes down to if you two want to cram yourself in with eleven other people in one house or if you’d rather be close but in your own house."

"Well that is.. up to you I suppose. I'm not sure how many people already live with you, and if John and I would be welcome."

Bee’s lips parted in happy surprise and she was about to speak when Al got there first.

"Move in with us or move into town?"

Oh, that’s right, she thought.

James cleared his throat, almost more nervous about this than asking them to be his partners.

"It's... very difficult not seeing you both very often, and the same for John. So we were hoping you wouldn't mind if we wanted to move closer. As in, we would like to move to Swindon."

Al ordered for both himself and Bee, saving her from added anxiety. Once the waiter was gone again, they turned to James once more.

He grinned back, relieved. 

"Wonderful. That brings me to the other thing I wanted to talk to you both about then. John and I have discussed it already, so I know he he feels, but I wanted to ask you if it was alright."

Before he could say anymore, the waiter was back to take their orders. James spoke first.

"I'll have Chicken Linguini."

There was a beat of silence between the two Pottses, and then both of them let the same grin stretch across their faces.

"We’d love to."

James shifted in his seat, a little nervous himself. 

"Well, I've been wanting to speak to you both about something for a while now, and I wasn't sure how to do so." He started, "I wasn't sure when to bring it up either, so I'm glad you asked."

He had to pause for a moment, trying to figure out how to word what he wanted to say.

"I'd hoped this would be more romantic, but I would like to ask if you would both be my partners." 

As he spoke, his face reddened a bit.

"I’ll be fine," Bee repeated. She held back a cringe at how petulant she sounded.

Al decided it was time to steer the conversation elsewhere. “I am curious what this is all about.”

"Ah. I'll have to remember that then. I apologize for asking you both here so suddenly." He smiled at them both apologetically, "If it gets to be too much at any point, we can leave."

Bee shook her head, but Al said, “She’s not used to this. I’ve been going to fancy dinners and balls for years now, and this is the first time she’s done this.”

"I’ll be fine."

"I know."

Al’s hand left Bee’s wrist and she immediately wished for it back.

James looked over the menu, finding what he wanted and placing the menu on the table again. 

Looking at Bee, he could see how nervous she was and he wondered if coming to such an expensive restaurant like this had been the best choice. Al seemed the have no problems, but Bee still looked uncomfortable.

"Was this too much?"

"Water for both of us," Al said.

"Today’s specials are shrimp scampi with roasted asparagus and onion beef soup with an orange walnut salad. Your drinks will be here shortly."

The waiter left, and Bee picked up her menu when Al did, looking at everything.

She tried very hard not to look at the enormous prices on the dishes, but with only the name and the price and no indication of exact ingredients, it was difficult.

Bee tried to calm herself as her nerves spiked, feeling like everyone could tell she didn’t go to places like this ever.

Al’s hand rested on her wrist and his soothing felt like soft water cleaning her mind. “I think you’d like the filet mignon.”

"Mmkay."

"Oh. Well that should certainly be interesting."

He looked up as the waiter came back to take their drink orders, starting out asking about wines, but James shook his head. Al was pregnant and Bee was underage, and he wasn't a big drinker.

He ordered water for himself, and looked to Al and Bee.

"Good. Phin’s taken some time to wander the moors of England or someshit, our friend Garrett has finally taken a vacation from work and is staying with us, and we’ve got a new double."
