     Something short was coming in fast and... angry. And he knew angry women far too well. Almost immediately he was ready to start to defend himself for whatever she was going to accuse him of doing, only that's not what this was about. There was no yelling or accusing. Instead the name Dean seemed to echo through his mind before he saw stars.

     No words came. The sound that did come sounded almost like a girl squeaking. His face twisted up in pain, the wind completely knocked from his chest. Both hands dropped to reach for his entirely too tender bits and pieces. His knees gave out from under him, dropping him to the ground hard.

     All he saw was the woman disappearing as he leaned forward, letting his head drop to the ground as the tears came more than willingly.
