I love this chapter. Every time I think I have found my favorite chapter, a new one appears and I fall in love with this fic even more. Although, this might have to be my favorite because of the Aristocats reference (I freaking love that movie). I love supportive dad Steve so much!!!! Also, I love how hesitant Clint is to help Loki even though he loves Kit. Is really in character and I love those things. And can we talk about how sassy Kit was with Ross??? Queen. Absolute queen.
Mischief, Meet Your Match - Chapter Twenty-One (Loki x Reader)
WARNINGS: Graphic Violence and Gore, Swearing, Smut, Angst, Idiots in Love, Loki
SUMMARY:
Being caught in the cross hairs of The God of Mischief would scare a saner person but not you, you enjoy it. There’s just something about Loki that draws you to him, and you couldn’t help it even if you wanted to. Tricking the Trickster is exhilarating but you quickly find yourself becoming attached to him as you’re unwillingly dragged on the adventure of a lifetime.
While The Avengers race to get you out of Loki’s clutches, you find yourself teaming up with him to try and defeat an enemy who threatens everything you hold dear.
When you’re tangled up with the God of Chaos, there’s no way of winning and it’s anyone’s guess which you’ll lose first, your heart or your life?

Chapter Twenty-One - One Door Closes
The Avengers all started at you in varying degrees of shock and awe, tinged with fear, Fear of you or for you, you couldn’t be sure.
“How the hell is this possible?” Steve demanded tensely.
“I’m a human sponge.” You said to Bruce, looking him in the eye meaningfully.
“The serum… it was designed to absorb the super-soldier serum, not an Infinity Stone.” He said nervously, but you could almost see the gears turning in his head, the mental calculations, the scientific curiosity burning in him.
And you saw the pieces fall into place as he figured it out. His eyes darted between you and Steve as he weighed up warning everyone and Steve finding out the truth. Your hand twitched.
“She knows about Project: Open Door.” He said quickly.
The game was up, they knew what you were going to do, you had to run and you had to do it now.

I have to say that all of the effort you put behind it, is noticed. As a writer myself, I can tell when research and time is put into a fic. So again, I love your works, because I might or might not have read them all (Seriously, I'm addicted). I have recommended mischief to all of my friends who read fics and all the Bucky ones to my best friend. And she loved them too.
I'm so glad that you enjoy doing this, and it sure shows. I have found myself wondering how many hours do your days have, because it is incredible to me to produce such good content every day. I wish I was that motivated to write. Anyways, let me tell you one more time how amazing I think you and your works are. Really, I think I have a little writer crush on you. And you make me smile when I see your posts, so keep doing what you are doing, because I can tell I am not the only one you have touched with your writing.
Sorry for the little rant and thank you so much for the answer. Love you right back ❤❤❤
I have been reading mischief since it began and I can certainly tell you that it is the best Loki fic I've ever read. It is mind-blowing how good you write. I absolutely love it, and love you for it. I can say without shame that your chapters are the highlight of my day. Chapter 20 was sooooo good. I didn't expect the twist at all. Can't wait until Loki and Kit are reunited. And just so you know you are my favourite writer atm. Love ❤❤❤
I feel like I’m repeating myself when i say I LOVE messages like this but…
Listen, i write 4-5k words a day on this fic. I pour through hours of research on Marvel Canon, Biology, Fiction Biology, Psychology, I watch hours of martial arts tutorials. I spent all night creating the society on Clarius and the people.
I pour every bit of my energy into my fics, none more so than MMYM. And I do it because I love it. I do. It brings me so much joy, it helps me cope with my issues, it gives me purpose I otherwise would be void of.
So when I get a comment, or a message… It literally means the world to me. It means my stories are being heard, and liked. It means that every bit of effort I am putting in is paying off. It means that no matter how sad or lonely I get, I know I’ve connected with people, it means that I matter. It means that I finally have a place in the world.
So thank you. I love you, and I actually mean that.

so ive done this before, im sure, but i wanna talk about Buckys scars. because i always see art with scarring all around the arm/metal line, and swear thats not what they are
five lines. yall do me a favor, and mimic clawing at your skin in that spot.
-the thumb would make the shortest line, and curve inward. -the pointer finger would have the most pressure on it from that angle, and the deeper the cut, the more likley it would get caught a bit and skip. see the break in that line? -middle finger would have the longest contact time -ringer finger a shot straight line, and the pinkey just a small gouge.
if he looked down and saw the arm, panicked, and tried to claw at it, thats exactly where he’d be looking and where he’d claw at it.
now (and if you could ignore the part where im severely obsessive and should probably get some kinda hobby), i painted my shoulder. just slapped some tempera paint on and tried to mimic what i think he did, and the results were actually pretty close.
(id have gotten a picture, but my roommate came home with guests and it was either walking back to my room to get my phone, or keep continuing my charade of making her think im mentally stable)
if anyone goes to a convention panel with him (or the Russos) i will pay you to ask about this

OWL readathon
This is my TBR list for my OWL readathon in June! Did you participate in this readathon? It was actually in April, but due to circumstances I decided to do it in June:)
This readathon consists of several aspects. First you have to choose a career, just like in the Harry Potter books, where you base your OWLs on. I chose herbology, which I would have probably chosen too if I lived in the wizarding world. To follow this career path I have to do three OWLs: Potions, Care of magical creatures and herbology (of course). For these subjects I have to read certain books that fit with the prompts:
Care of magical creatures: land animal on the cover
Herbology: plant on the cover
Potions: next ingredient: sequel
For these prompts I chose Strange the dreamer (it isn’t really a land animal on the cover, but I don’t have other books on my Tbr list with an animal) and The lost realm and The enchanted door from the The chronicles of fantasy kingdom. I read the first couple of books when I was younger, but I really want to read the whole series, because they’re really great! That’s why I’m starting with the first two (also because they fit with the prompts).
I currently (10th of June) read approximately 200 pages from Strange the dreamer, so I’m not really where I wanted to be, but I hope I can get more reading done this week.

There’s no privilege in being vegan. Or a minimalist. Or zero waste.
If you do it right. It’s about doing he best you can, not doing the ultimate best.
Minimalism is about not buying more than you need.
Zero waste is about trying to reduce waste as much as possible.
Veganism is about reducing cruelty as much as possible.
That means takig meds, no matter how they’re packaged. That means buying food- and if the cheapest version for you is frozen in a plastic bag it doesn’t make you a bad person. It’s about reevaluating your morals and your things.
It’s not about winning or showing off how many new mason jars you have. It’s about reusing your stuff- like pickle jars to freeze extra food in etc.
It’s about being your best self and being supportive of others in the community. Helping each other out, educating people.
It’s about saving our planet, our only home.

The world owes the avengers an unpayable debt. You have fought for us, protected us, risked your lives…But while a great many people see you as heroes, there are some who’d prefer the word vigilantes…
