Hey Oldshoes, is Broville General Hospital worse than Attaway General or is it on par?

I was cured of terminal brain disease at Broville General. Can’t speak to the level of care at Attaway.

So with a team of over 70 builders how did you maintain a uniform building style across Broville? Seriously, shit's amazing with how much work has been put and with so many contributors yet there doesn't seem to really be any buildings that stand out from the rest. Did you have a reference for it (i.e. color palettes, how windows, doorways, rooftops, etc should look)? I also appreciate the style in and of itself, it's clean and simple and fits in with it being a *minecraft* city.

I was really picky about letting people help with the map. They had to meet nebulous criteria that I never fully articulated. It also helped that all these people were spread out over the 4.5 years, I didn’t have to manage everyone at once.

The expectations and “style guide” for the most part was defined by what was already made in the map. Even as things evolved, there was a lot of builds to compare any new builds to. A lot of things like ceiling heights, doors and windows etc was somewhat standardized, but could vary depending on the situation.

The internal consistency of everything is one of the main points of the map I’m most happy about so I’m glad that it’s not gone unnoticed.
