Beachstuck Meetup!!

There will be a Jaxstuck meetup at 599 Ocean Front S on August 9 from 11-8. There will be Derse vs Prospit activities set up, such as a scavenger hunt and beach volleyball, so try to wear an article of clothing representing where you dream if you plan to participate! yourquestbedawaits will have purple and yellow grease paint as well!

Bringing snacks to share is optional. Pizza will be ordered sometime between 5-6, so bring $2-5 if you want a say in what pizza you get, and your options are between cheese and pepperoni. Drinks will not be purchased, so if you want drinks then you may want to bring your own.

Cosplay is optional, and gray paint is NOT ALLOWED. And, of course, remember to bring your swimsuit if you choose to cosplay, and remember to put on sunscreen!! Feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns.

Super Omega Durban Homestuck Meetup Scavenger Hunt Quest of Fate

Date of Event: 8/8/14

Time: This is to be decided, probably like noon to like seven 

Location: Julington Durbin Preserve

Directions(ish): In Duval County, approximately two miles west of the town of Bayard on Bartram Park Blvd.

Description: It is a Homestuck celebration for my brother and sisters birthday. That's right two birthdays and one big Homestuck party! we plan on having a costume contest judged by me, my bro, and one other chosen official (maybe you karkles *wonk* *wonk*) Aside from that (what I'm most exited about) we are planning on having a homestuck team scavenger hunt through out the Durban Preserve with clues and prizes and bloodshed, if enough people RSVP..... okay maybe not the bloodshed.... maybe.

Requests: Yup I'm asking that people RSVP, that way I know how to plan accordingly. I would also like as many people as possible to come in cosplay! but also come prepared to run around through a park and adventure, yup, yup. Bringing food is also appreciated ;;;;))))))))

okay so i promise this (might) be the last post i make before nfcc about nfcc stuff (hopefully) i just have a slot of info im sorry

1. since the nfcc ends kinda early (4pm) we’re gonna go hit up a Steak and Shake nearby for food after. this means there are NO LUNCH PLANS so plan accordingly. some of us will be serving cake and sweets and stuff, but there might not be enough for everyone and/or you might want to eat something more substantial (personally im gonna pack myself a peanut butter sandwich and an aj or some shit like that)

2. Doan is planning a photoshoot so prepare for that post. she’s also making stickers and is taking free requests if you want one. you have until friday.

3. I am planning on being Jane for nfcc. That being said i realize that she has canon interaction with Gamzee, but i ask that you please, please do not come up and interact with me in character if you plan on being gam. i really feel uncomfortable about gamzee and i love cosplayers so i love you and i dont mind you trying to be him a bit, but please, not with me. come up and be yourself, thats cool, but not in character. thanks.

4. Dallas and i were planning on making art trading cards to do some fun trading at the meetup, so if you would like to try your hand at these they are typically 3 x 2.5 in, which is the size of a index card cut in half eridan-style so far i have made 2 but i plan on making many more before sunday. that means im not making stickers this time so yeah sorry

The Homestuck extravaganza 4/13!!

homestuck? Any where in the north/central Florida area?

 Then you should come to the Homestuck Extravaganza 4/13 at the UF campus in gainsville FL. The event starts on sunday at 1pm, and will include a movie section, a costume contest, a give away and much much more! There will also be the first ever HSCE meet up! The HSCE (Homestuck craft exchange) encourages you to bring any homestuck related craft you’ve made/ or are currently working on, and at the event you can trade your goods for things other people have made! For the less artistically inclined, there will be plenty of artists you can commission! The event page is here  and you should message me or Megan if you have any questions.

We were thinking about doing it in St. Augustine and calling it “Hipsters Hate Valentines” because we all wanted to hipsterstuck.

(Hai I'm from atlanta, Ga and you should see if anyone will be at the gator bowl (Ga bulldogs vs Nebraska foot ball game) on Jacksonville cause I'll be down there as Human Gamzee and will totally pull off a tiny meet up during half time if there are any of you going)

So I put this on floridastuck too; I'm an atlstuck heading down to Jacksonville for the gator bowl football game and I was wondering if the admin(s) of this page could post something so I could see if anyone is going to the game, also so I can know if I can pull off a tiny meet up during halftime x3 I'll be down their as human gamzee anyways!

haha i'd go if i wasn't so tight on money myself!! but any jaxstucks headed towards the upcoming gatorbowl want to get together? if so, hook up with fromfirsttoimnotskrillex!

Wait, so my morail and I are going as trolls (Aradia and Gamzee). We can't paint ourselves? I wasn't informed of this beforehand...

it is i, mod karen/privilegestuck. no. although this meeting is not in my hands, you are not allowed to paint yourselves due to past meetups, we have learned that painting yourselves in a public setting that isn't a con/anime day is not a good idea and will get negative comments and even the cops called on everyone involved. see: christmas stuck 2012.

Hey Folks! Sweaterstuck is tomorrow!

For anyone who is unaware it will be held at the clarke park on kingsley, from 1-6 pm

A few quick reminders:

Cosplay is encouraged but not necessary! there will be pictures for those who want them

Please don't paint yourself, this is a public place and we don't want the cops called on us. Again

wigs and horns are fine, and if you want to bring a prop make sure its nothing big. Or dangerous. I guess things like, Ryan's juggling clubs would be chill.

You don't have to bring a gift/food item if you don't want to, but if you don't bring a gift you can't take part of the gift exchange! 

we recommend the gift be homestuck themed, like any kind of home made object or maybe zodiac themed objects. I'm not putting a cap on price but please don't go crazy

There will be a sleep over at my house (metrowolf) after the party for anyone who wants to come over! The idea is for you to bring any cosplay/project you're working on and we can just work together! If you don't want to or aren't allowed thats fine too. I can only give so many people a ride home anyway.

t minus 17 days til the sweaterstuck Jax holiday meetup!

Oh goodness, this post has been a long time coming but I've been outrageously busy with finals and a new job. So the final plan for the Jaxstuck holiday get together! 

It will be held on Friday, December 20th

at the Clarke park on Kingsley blvd. The address is: 1039 Kingsley ave, Orange Park, FL 32073

The time is going to officially be 1pm to 6 pm, but obviously you can come whenever you can and leave when you have to. It'll be dark before 6, and iI was thinking we could move the party over to the Dairy Queen, about a few minutes down the road for dinner and ice cream (because this is florida we can have ice cream at a christmas party) 

Cosplay is encouraged! I personally was going to wear a stupid christmas sweater as part of my cosplay :D

We will be doing a gift exchange! So try to bring something homestuck related, and the spending limit is 10$. If you don't have money to spend thats fine, I'll be giving small charms to the people who couldn't bring a gift. Note that if you don't bring a present, you can't take part in the exchange.

(If you need a ride try to find someone in your area, I will only be able to pick up people in the argyle area and have limited room in my car. being late is ok if you can't get a ride please don't fret)
