On 10/11/13 I would not have thought that the simple Direct Message I got from this man on Twitter would lead to today, 10/14/14. It started off with simple questions like where you from and can I have your number? Which then led to daily FaceTiming, texting and talking. He was in Texas and I was in Nevada. We were both living in two predicaments that weren't ideal, but time the time we shared via technology and stolen WiFi made our hearts grow closer and closer everyday.

He would tell me that he's going to move to Nevada to be with me and I did not believe it. At the time I was going through the roughest thing I had been through in my life. I had been spending my time with the wrong person who abused and hit me. I knew that I did not have to live the miserable life I was living after I saw what a real man is and how a real man can treat me. I was literally living in the dark and scared for my life, but it all changed after I met him.

The way our journey began is not like many others, but it was definitely the beginning of something great and unbreakable. A bond that nobody but I could really understand at the time because we were both investing in something most people would think is crazy. We both pitched in from a Greyhound ticket for him to come to me in March after he asked me to be his on March 8, 2014. We knew we were doing the right thing and he took the first big step by hopping into that Greyhound and riding it from Texas all the way to Nevada. A two day bus ride that would change our lives forever. The anticipation I felt to finally have them physically here with me was like nothing I ever felt before. My heart raced and pounded out of my chest, I was a bit nervous and didn't really know what to expect. As soon as he turned the corner of the Greyhound station and I glanced at him I was mesmerized and couldn't believe my eyes. The moment I had been waiting for was finally here and the man of my dreams is now in my arms. With the warm hugs embrace I knew my troubles were over and my life had just began!

I was jumpy and a bit shy and we got pulled over a few moments after I picked him up from the Greyhound station but he handled the situation so well, it went by smoothly. I was a bit embarrassed because he had just got here and 12 was already on us. Haha.

To fast forward our story and crazy journey,

we have been together ever since that day and are inseparable. Like any couple we have our ups and downs, but we manage to get through it all because our love conquers all and true love never fades. Now expecting our little one to come in 2015, a child made with love by mommy and daddy...
