I swear to G- I forgot my tumblr acc and when i managed to open it, i saw this question and immediately thought what was I on years back HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA but honestly though- I’m 50:50 when it comes to Okita, he looks like someone who already has experience yet he acts like a child at times-

Is Kamui still a Virgin?

*coughs* O-okay. This might be awkward but since it's requested, we need to answer it. Because this is "Ask anything: Gintama", If we say ANYTHING then we mean ANYTHING!!

Kamui being 18, in Japan, it would be fine to do it..... the....you know what I mean. But as we all know, Kamui ain't that matured, unlike the people around Gintoki's age (Hijikata, Takasugi and etcetera) he's still a boy at heart, so for me, I believe that he haven't done it yet.

First proof that would support my claim/opinion is his line...

"A man drunk on sake is distinctive, but a man drunk on a woman is unsightly, right?".

This statement itself says that Kamui is not the type to get drunk on a woman, for he himself says that it is unsightly, specifically, he's not the type to touch a woman because if he does, it just seems like he is referring to himself as "unsightly" and we all know that he doesn't want that.

In this dialogue in episode 141:

"Perhaps you're too young to understand?"-Housen

"No, I understand."-Kamui

"Oh? So you've learned the taste of things other than food since I've last seen you? Do you want sake? Women? Just tell me."-Housen

"In that case.... One night with Hinowa."-Kamui

We aaaall know what Housen was talking about in this statement,.....

"Oh? So you've learned the taste of things other than food since I've last seen you?".

Oh yes, we do. But still no, for me, Kamui just swept that topic away, as if there's nothing, ('cause there is nothing, really. U.U) --- meaning, he doesn't really care at all for he's not into touching women and we'll get there later. About the one night with Hinowa "thingy", he just said that because he wanted to see the woman that made Housen the person that he was that time, and that leads us to another support for this claim, Kamui only wants to see Housen's weakness for she was the one that made him uninterested in fighting Housen because as he said...

so for him... Housen is an unsightly sight for getting drunk on a woman........ Did you get it? Well......

Second proof, is this statement ...

"If you do that, then what do I do about this thirst of mine? Women and sake don't cut it.... I don't need things like that..... They wouldn't be able to quench my thirst."

THIS LINE GAVE ME SO MUCH JOY. First of all, we don't view Kamui as an alcoholic man, he doesn't drink that much, so we should view him as the type to not touch women also for he said it himself, and what he says is true, if women and sake don't cut his thirst for battle, then it really doesn't, that means he didn't try because he already had a mindset that even if he did, nothing would change, so he didn't bother to get drunk and be with women.... not even once. How can the strongest night king(Housen) cut his own thirst for battle by sake and women, why not Kamui's? If it happened to the first night king, why not to the second? Simple, Kamui didn't try to, that's why he didn't experience it, that's why he didn't know what would really happen. Long story short, Kamui haven't touched any woman and haven't drunk too much alcohol....... not even once.

The word "wouldn't" is only applied for future purposes right? In the last sentence of his statement, he says that they 'wouldn't' be able to quench his thirst so its just similar to saying that even if he did try in the next moments, nothing would really change, he'd still long for battles. So long story short again, it just means that he really haven't tried anything because of how his mind thinks, if he thinks that they wouldn't cut it, then they wouldn't, simple. Next!!!

3rd and Final Proof!! Is this line of his....

"It's not my style to kill women. Women may give birth to strong children, right? Well, I suppose I can't expect anything from your children."

Yes, it's true, Kamui doesn't really like to kill women, for he believes that they might give birth to strong children and we know that Kamui likes to challenge strong people. He also has it in mind that men and women are not equal when it comes to physical strength and I've seen somewhere that he said that women are weak and he has no use of the weak, so for me that just proves that Kamui doesn't really care about women, he only focuses on strong people that can pique his interest. MAIN POINT: That just means that he does not involve himself in women for he can't stand the weak, and for him women are weak, so how can he stand sharing a room with a weakling, directly a woman when it's the least that interests him. I'm on the positive side of being a fangirl for Kamui!

LETS TALK ABOUT THIS..

According to the translations these two brother-in-laws were bickering about fighting i mean what else can they talk about but then i read this:

Okita: Then let’s make it simple! YOUR SISTER IS UGLY.

Kamui: Back at you!

Kagura: BACK AT YOU MY ASS, TAKE IT BACK!

There are so many things I can say about this but I’m gonna make this brief

Okita: Then let’s make it simple! YOUR SISTER IS UGLY.

Sougo did not need to say that.. at all. Out of all alternatives he decided to mention this. Although there could be three things he could mean by “making it simple”.

1. He was trying to start a different argument

2. The whole thing was actually about Kagura

or 3. He’s really off topic

4. He always needs to get Kagura’s constant attention

He’s said things like this before but never so explicit

and in front of Kamui too. That’s what makes this 10x better

Kamui: Back at you!

When I read this the first thing that came in mind was Mitsuba so I was all “y o U d i   D   n O t   j uS t  G o  t hEr E ” but this is Kamui we’re talking about, he can say or do whatever he wants. Either this or he’s trying to affend her and Sougo saying they’re both ugly. Honestly I don’t think he’s aware that Mitsuba existed all fourth wall breaking aside.

Also I can’t tell if she’s telling Kamui to take back what he said or for Sougo to take back what he said, and from what I remember, I don’t think she ever told Sougo to take back something he’s said.
