Amor and Psyche Ψ Talon Abraxas
When we raise ourselves through meditation to what unites us with the spirit, we quicken something within us that is eternal and unlimited by birth and death. Once we have experienced this eternal part in us, we can no longer doubt its existence. Meditation is thus the way to knowing and beholding the eternal, indestructible, essential centre of our being. –Rudolf Steiner

“The world is a looking glass. It gives back to every man a true reflection of his own thoughts. Rule your mind or it will rule you.”
— Buddha
No-Self : You are just a mirror reflecting nothing.
When thoughts cease, who are you? An utter emptiness, nothingness, no-thingness.
It is because of this that Buddha has used a strange word; nobody has ever done such a thing before, or since. The mystics have always used the word 'self' for the interiormost core of your being -- Buddha uses the word 'no-self'. And I perfectly agree with him; he is far more accurate, closer to truth. To use the word 'self' -- even if you use the word 'Self' with a capital 'S', does not make much difference. It continues to give you the sense of the ego, and with a capital 'S' it may give you an even bigger ego.
Buddha does not use the words atma, 'self', atta. He uses just the opposite word: 'no-self', anatma, anatta. He says when mind ceases, there is no self left -- you have become universal, you have overflowed the boundaries of the ego, you are a pure space, uncontaminated by anything. You are just a mirror reflecting nothing.

The Magis Grail art by Emma Watkinson The Holy Grail has long been revered in Art as a symbol of the divine feminine. Inspired by the Mythic Tarot, it invokes the Magus card, moment the Magician becomes empowered & picks up the 4 magical elemental tools, the sword, wand, pentacle & grail, & realises he/she is master of their destiny. Essentially its about the process of creation itself from spirit into matter. The fire of the star of venus is the inspiration of spirit, shoots down in lightning to the Magi, he breaths in the air (mind) into the sword, his consort the High priestess breaths the water (emotions) into the grail, & together they plant the seed of manifestation, the pentacle in the earth, which grows in a tree… then bursting forth flowers in a cycle of manifestation as they build a life together. It could be the Magus & High Priestess at the beginning of the major arcana, or the lovers card in the middle…the Beltane dance of masculine & feminine within the weave of the caduceus, or the two figures could describe the hermaphrodite in the world card at the end, symbolising wholeness, completion of a soul and the hero’s journey. “…because two bodies, naked and entwined, leap over time, they are invulnerable, nothing can touch them, they return to the source. There is no you, no I, no tomorrow, no yesterday, no names, the truth of two in a single body, a single soul, oh total being…” --Octavio Paz

Scorpio Zodiac by Tashina Suzuki Scorpio rules the sexual organs, the source of our greatest power, but is also the power that can most easily destroy us. I TRANSFORM I transform the energy of conflict into harmony, beauty and love. When I shift my focus from self to others, I stand strongest in my power. Things do exist, but they exist because they are empty.
That is why the I exists; why phenomena exist; why birth, aging, and death exist; why suffering and the cessation of suffering exist.
All these exist in mere name. For ordinary people like us, however, everything that is false in life appears true. Whether something exists or is a fantasy, we believe it to be 100 percent true.
On the other hand, ultimate reality, which does exist, - appears to us as nonexistent.

Maa kaali
Essence of Goddess Kali
Maa Kaali is the most compassionate of all forms of Hindu Goddess or Devi because she paves the way for the liberation of the soul.
Maa kaali is the female counterpart of lord Shiva who is considered the Goddess of Destruction in Hinduism. Just as Shiva had taken in all the poison that emerged during the Samudra Manthan (churning of the divine seas) in his throat and thus he got the name Neelkanth( one with a blue throat), Goddess Kali destroys the illusory ego of all her devotees. That’s why Maa Kali will appear in a fearsome form to people who are over attached to their egos. But if your worship her with utmost devotion without the barrier of the ego, you will see her as an affectionate, sweet and compassionate mother overflowing with eternal love for her children.
In that sense, Maa Kali also symbolizes eternal and boundless love.

If we want there to be peace in the world, we have to be brave enough to soften what is rigid in our hearts, to find the soft spot and stay with it. We have to have that kind of courage and take that kind of responsibility. That’s the true practice of peace.

Full Moon on Arcturus Talon Abraxas There is a very potent Super Full Moon in Aries that squares Mars in Cancer on October 17th. This is the last and biggest Super Moon for 2024. It is noted that Aries is also ruled by Mars.
The Sun, Earth and Moon are so closely aligned that it is almost a Lunar Eclipse - the Earth’s shadow just misses the Moon. In transit it may feel like a mini-eclipse. This ‘almost Lunar Eclipse’ follows the partial Lunar Eclipse on the 18th September and the annular Solar Eclipse on the 3rd October.
Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter and Chiron are all stationed retrograde.
The Arcturus Gateway is open and peaking, as the Earth and our Sun come into alignment with the star Arcturus, which opens a powerful portal of Arcturian energy.
This Super Full Moon in Aries is bringing a powerful energy surge that will transform everything around us. This event is a cosmic turning point that will dismantle outdated systems and accelerate personal and global transformation like never before. It will influence manifestation and your spiritual growth
This Full Moon is all about courage, bold action and new beginnings. It amplifies the symphony of our emotions, rendering our sensitivity and intuition more acute. It encourages us to tap into our inner strength, confront what’s holding us back, and face challenges head on, transforming obstacles into growth opportunities.
Full Moons always illuminate what is hidden, bringing unresolved feelings to the surface for acknowledgment.
This Full Moon conjuncts retrograde Chiron in Aries. You may feel triggered by memories of your past.
Now is the time to release your fears, step into your power and ignite the inner warrior within you. Release deep emotional wounds/burdens. Trust your intuition. Be well grounded and hydrated. Tune in to your body’s needs and rest as required. Embark on a new journey of self-discovery and growth. Work through resistance and go with the flow. Get ready for a major shift and embrace the energy of change. -The Drakontas Connection
