Happy holidays, as you grow older you learn that it's not necessarily about the gifts that you receive rather it's about the time spent with those whom you love. The way that I see it everyday should be an opportunity to show your appreciation to those who are in your life through gifts. Even though she wasn't able to buy me a gift I receive something a price tag can never be out on, her love that she gives me daily. As hard as days may get I always have to take a step back and realize that I'm not the only one alone in this. Naevea also does not have that other person that should be with us in this journey. I love you #SugarBear

Poetry is a beautiful thing. I used to read Jack Frost, E E Cummings, and Walt Witman in secrecy. In high school I would moan and grumble with the rest of the class when we needed to read Shakespeare, but inside I was bubbling with joy. I have no idea why I was so bashful about an art that is so amazing.

One of the most beautiful things in the world is falling for someone. Discovering all of those little pieces that make up an individual, loving them even more for everything that makes them so alluring as well as their flaws. With all that is good a dark side follows, with love the dark side to it is not knowing whether a newfound love is meant to last.

Yesterday was my first time back in the gym after too long a time away, had some demons that I had to battle and get my mind right. Focus was on lock and today my legs are feeling it. Ain't nothing better than a little therapy. This one goes out to all my #GymRat buddies, those #RoughNecks twisting iron putting in work, and them #DevilDog #USMC soldiers, every other branch of #US #Military service members, and those people who grind hard day in and day out! Keep getting it til your dreams become reality!

Poetry has long been a passion of mine, but I've always kept all my thoughts to myself. Recently I stumbled upon @k.woodmansee, he help me realize my words and thoughts should be shared rather than sitting in my notebooks not seeing the light of day. This one is for the love lost that we were almost certain to be a sure thing that would never disappear.

It's ridiculous how much sleep I have lost over the years due to someone being on my mind. We've all experienced this. Sometimes we are so elated that butterflies are zooming in our stomachs and our cheeks hurt from smiling. We may be so overcome with grief on how things went south, we find our minds racing to find the answer of what went wrong to stop the waters from running down from our eyes. Then we just wish their warm body was next to ours enjoying their sweet embrace.

I don't know what I would do without my #SugarBear. Yesterday was my #Birthday and even tho I had to get up and go to work the only thing I could think about was getting home so I could #Celebrate with my little #CountryGirl. Her #Smile washes away all of my fears, her laughter brings a light so bright into my life I can't help but feel like everything will be alright, and I find myself falling in love with her more everyday. She doesn't even know how much I love her and how she brings joy into all of the simplest things like baking a birthday cake. Thank you #NaeveaRae for an amazing birthday, #Daddy loves you.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends from my #SugarBear and I. Through my struggles, faults, and triumphs I have realized there are many things that I am thankful for. I have been blessed with a family to support me through my ups and downs, an endless opportunity for growth, and a job that allows me to provide for my daughter. Everyday I am grateful for the road my life has led me, lessons learned, and people met not only on thanksgiving. May everyone enjoy great company, eat excellent food until we are fat, and you cup be full until we are drunk!

There are times that we think the world is crashing down on our shoulders and not a single thing is going our way. The thing about life is that it's a roller coaster, you can't have excitement and intrigue if it's a constant incline because we're going to have drops as well. Just know the lows don't last long. I'm on another ascent and the sun 🌞 is warm upon my cheeks. Got promoted yesterday💰💵💰, and got a hot🔥 date tonight. #HighOffLife

In life there are many things that may frighten you, don't let that be a discouragement. Put a face on whatever your fears are and turn it into fuel. Find something that you can achieve and keep your eyes on the prize, turn up the steam full blast and get that engine going til you can't stop. Do those things in life that are going to benefit you, knowing at the end of the day the best investment you can make is in yourself.

Throughout your lifetime there will be countless heartbreaks💔 that you will experience. "That's the thing about pain, it demands to be felt." Whatever you have to do let the pain flow through you and out. Afterwords find that thing or person who can occupy your mind and take the pain away. You know your boy smashed legs today. Ain't gonna lie, been out of the gym for about 4 days, never know how things gonna affect your frame of mind. As much as you want things to work, sometimes just gotta let things be. My picture was blurry but I got it back in focus. #StayGrindin

Sometimes in life there are things that anger you, push your buttons, and really make you question life and those who reside in it. Don't let circumstances and situations become negatives, add that fuel to your fire and strengthen your resolve. Last night sucked after a rude awakening to how things really are, on thing I can always count on is the gym. Focus on lock as I grind out the pain and anger with iron, don't usually listen to heavy metal, but today called for it. #Slipknot #Duality

Stay REAL, stay LOYAL, or stay AWAY from me. I don't have time for games; I work +70 hours a week, I'm a single father, and I have dreams both in and out of the gym. Don't waste my time and don't waste yours if I'm not what you need, best thing to do is be honest. I'm too good of a person for bullshit, my vision of what my life is going to look like doesn't need all that obscuring my view. If you come to me step correct with the best of intentions.

I don't know how this little girl does it, but every day I find myself falling deeper in love with my #SugarBear. She makes me laugh with her little sense of humor, she drives me crazy because she knows she has me wrapped around her finger, but most of all she knows how to put a smile on my face. She does so much for me even though she's just a tiny human, I hope I'm being the best father I can be in her eyes, as she deserves it. #BradPaisley #LittleMoments
