I heard this today and it made me just stop and replay and replay it over and over. Why can’t I unlove you? You hurt me so deeply and you know how to do it so well. It’s like you pick the words that will cut me the deepest. Why? I just don’t understand. I’ve done nothing but love you. I’ve done nothing but give you chance, after chance, after chance. And everytime i think to myself “ Why did I believe it this time? Why am so stupid to think he would change”. And everytime I still forgive you. You have this way... that you can smile at me and make feel so warm and like it’s okay after... but then you just hurt me again. Then you promise you’ll change and tell me not to leave you. Then you do it again... then you do romantic gestures and make me believe... then you do it again. And stupidly... I forgive and believe you again. Why am I doing this to myself? Why can’t I just gather the courage to leave you?

I don’t know what it is about putting on my glasses that makes me feel safer and more comfortable. But now comparing I think I prefer the glasses look more too. >
