I have to unfortunately scrap this project because it was reaching my breaking point. I couldn't get things to look how I want through linework and then the render for the last three. Hoping I can pick it back up when I get a bit better at drawing eyes and expressions and drawing the Militsioner.

here is the current lineup of all my primary g/t characters weee 🔥 from small to big lol. hopefully i can share more details about them instead of arbitrarily showing art with no context lol. i think i have to work on exploring them a bit more in a way that you guys can also get a better sense of their personalities and their worlds :> some more info below the break

they are all paired up (ie their "stories") as so:

Dana and Maricela "Mar": Dana is a tiny sea nymph princess who longs to explore the world outside her underwater kingdom. One day while roaming outside the boundaries of the Reef, she is caught in a fishing net by Maricela, a mysterious human who may or may not have once been a nefarious pirate.

Laurent and Gabriel: A curse implemented on human ranchero, Gabriel, transforms him into a giant after he accidentally discovers a hidden part of the woods. Meanwhile, Laurent, a fairy and member of the court, accidentally gets trapped outside his home when Gabriel mistakes him for the one that cursed him.

Amelie, Nestor "Ness" and "Bay": Two human scientists, journalist Nestor and anthropologist Amelie, get involved in a shipwreck in a superstitious "triangle" zone overseas. After being rescued by a kaiju-sized being, the two of them decided to go back out to sea to discover the truth behind what saved them.

James and Kirin: James is a lonely ex-knight that takes on a mission to redeem himself and regain his position by exploring a mysterious abandoned kingdom. Little does he know that the activity reported in the area was attributed to an enormous gargoyle, Kirin, that resides within the walls.

yea still a bit vague, but i do want to leave some things out so I can draw them and actually portray their relationships and first encounters, I'm just lazy (and somewhat busy :b) but if anyone wants to know more about them my inbox is always open. also i might edit some info since i think my brain aint working so well rn the wording might be off lmao
