I’m no good at small talk
How about that weather, huh?
Yeah, introductions are not my forte. I’m an awkward, socially anxious ambivert who reeeeeeeeally doesn’t know how to sum up her life in a few sentences. Like, how do you know what’s important information and what’s not? But I guess this is my blog and I get to decide that...that’s a lot of responsibility.
So first things first, my name is Danielle. I currently live in South Dakota, but in November, I’ll be moving to Okinawa, Japan with my husband and our husky, Niko. I’m married (obviously) to the coolest, most awesome, gorgeous, Peter Kavinsky-esque guy on the planet. He’s in the Air Force, hence the move. We actually met at a bar during a Game of Thrones trivia game, which I dominated. I work in the local community theatre, managing the box office so I get to see all the amazing shows they do and also do the fun office work. Well, I think it’s fun.
I like a lot of things. Like A LOT. Fangirling is kind of my thing. I’m a HUGE Disney nerd, like a lot of people on here. I’m a sucker for most teen TV dramas (Blair Waldorf FOREVER). I read like nobody’s business. Fashion is the main way I express myself and how I’m feeling that day. Potterhead, of course, 100% Hufflepuff. I’m a big fan of classic movies. I’m currently collecting all of Elizabeth Taylor’s films on DVD. A Place in the Sun was tragically romantic.
So why a blog? Well, it was suggested to me by a friend that I should journal. But I get too distracted with journals. I pick out one I like, write in it for a bit and then OH THERE”S ONE WITH A MERMAID ON IT so I get that one and write in that one until OH THIS ONE HAS SNOW WHITE ON IT and write in that one and...see the pattern? So blogging seemed like a better alternative. It’s not like I need to dive in and divulge every detail of my soul, but this might be kind of fun just to write and interact and fangirl over the things I like with people who like those things too.
So that’s me. In a nutshell. Kind of.
