nateharrisonchills:
Nate could feel the chill of the snow against his flushed skin, though he could barely focus on anything but Jazz. Her voice broke their kiss and he pulled back slightly, his eyes scanning her eyes as he smiled. “You’re thinking about my cold hands?”
She smiled against him as he pulled away, her lips moving automatically towards him. She lifted her hands, taking his in hers. Her skin was warm, even now. “just... thinking about you.”

Nate could feel the snow against his skin, though his focus was on the girl kissing him. He felt her arms around his neck and he moved his own to her waist. He’d thought about this moment for so long.
The cold burnt her warm skin, sticking into her red hair. But she could feel Nate’s lips against hers and his smile pressured against her cheek. “Your hands must be freezing...”

remy-irving:
“Right!?”
Remy was used to never feeling anything from magical items, their power lost on someone like him, but this was different. Sometimes a hum, sometimes a rumbling roar, it seemed like if you put it to your ear you could always hear something different as if from a distance. “I have no idea.” He deflated a little.
“Can’t find anything in the history books, though I’m still waiting on books from the local orgs to double check.” He meant the coven, and other supernatural groups, but it was just an easy way to cover his basis and keep people out of the loop if need be. “Could be the holes are just an interesting acoustic phenomena or something else.” He said. “But I have a hunch there are more like that out in the woods.” Remy said.
Jazz was almost disturbed by the feel of the object and yet... part of her didn’t want to put it down. Ever. “The woods...” She spent an unusual amount of time out there. But she didn’t know whether to disclose that to a stranger. “I... am... of the supernatural world.” She stated calmly. “And i... feel something in this... something familiar. I think... it’s something to do with the pack.”

“You know that,” he repeated, losing his thoughts as she looked at him. “Yes… when people… us… lips.” He nodded, glancing down to her lips as he spoke. “Okay, I want you honest opinion,” he breathed, leaning in slowly. His lip touched hers gently and his arm moved to her arm.
Jazz just moved closer, closing her eyes as he kissed her. She was naturally warm, but the snow began to fall around them. Her arms moved around his neck, getting more into the kiss than she ever thought she would be.

“I do not. I am a gentleman,” he smiled, realising how close he was holding her. He liked that feeling. “Yeah? You love me too?” He smile grew before letting out a little laugh. “Will you accept a kiss as my sorry?”
“I know that.” She kept her eyes on him. Her words forgetting themselves for a moment. “A kiss?” Her eyes looked over her friend. “I think... uh i mean you can give it a go. I’ll let you know if it’s enough.”

“Just many people. No names,” he started to laugh, though his eyes glanced over her face. Taking in her reactions. “Oh gracefully. You are very graceful. But I do not,” he smiled, looking back over her features. “We do. And I… love you.”
“You so do, like every day.” She continued to smile, she’d grown to enjoy the fact they bickered like an old married couple. “I... love you too Nate.” She paused “You were still wrong about the snow though.”

“Oh who told you that?” he grinned, nudging her back. “I will keep that in mind. Maybe I’ll use it at a later day,” he joked, knowing she knew him better than he knew himself. “I never doubted you,” he smiled, rubbing her arm. He looked up, watching it fall down onto them before looking back to her. “This… is romantic.”
“Many people.” She argued, although with the fall of snow she began to relax. “You 100% did and i’ll choose to forget it gracefully, because i was right.” She gloated, her eyes falling on him. “I suppose it could be. We both love the snow...” Her smile softened.

“Oh never, never in the whole time I’ve known you.” He laughed to himself, his eyes turning towards her. “As long as it’s that calling and not the calling that turns me crazy and kills me.” He grinned. “Was that?” he pointed up to the sky. “Snow?” He smiled, moving is arm around her. “Oh, I do.”
“I am the innocent kinda girl.” She nudged him again. “I don’t know, i find the whole crazy warden thing sexy.” She teased, knowing it was what he wanted to hear. She smiled looking at his arm, before looking up at the sky. “I told you. I smell snow.” She kept her eyes on the sky, watching it begin to fall heavily.

Remy’s eyes widened, almost comically. “If you wouldn’t mind!” And he bolted from her side, making a quick go about getting back up to his loft. From the vantage point of the ground floor it must have sounded like he was dismantling something, but he was just shuffling through an inordinate amount of drawers.
Finally finding the thing he was looking for he went over to the railing overlooking the lobby.
“Catch.” He said, lobbing a small rock down to her. On first glance it was nothing more than a palm sized, smooth, skipping stone of a burnished red tone if seen in the right light, but turning it over the underside was full of holes.
“I know it’s probably a long shot, but if you can keep an eye out for more stones like these. I’d greatly appreciate it.” He said, leaning on the railing with an enigmatic smile.
Jazz was quite startled by the man’s movements, but equally amused. She moved closer slowly, listening carefully to the sounds. Although she couldn’t for the life of her figure out what was going on. She ducked to begin with, holding her arms out to catch the small rock. Although her eyes focussed on the stone. She couldn’t seem to take her eyes off of it.
She finally dragged her gaze from it. “What... is this?” She asked. “I mean i definitely can. I just... i feel... something from it.”

“Oh never, you have never teased me about anything ever,” he laughed a little, though he smiled when she touched his arm. “My hair would look good with the armour. No, my dad is a lot of thing but not a murderer.” He grinned. “Do I know?”
“Like i could ever.” She looked back up at the sky, she could swear she had felt something fall onto her. “Warden Nate. See comic con is calling.” She rolled her eyes, wrapping her arms around herself. “You know.”

“Hey, I’m a great driver and you know it,” he laughed, taking note of how many times she’d nudged him now. “Why Nathaniel. Is it the evil dad thing?” he joked. “I mean, I am not going to admit to anything. But smooth motherfucker? Really?”
“I would never call you a bad driver.” She squeezed his arm, knowing that it was a sensitive area. “Definitely and the hair, your dad didn’t kill mine though... that i’m aware of.” She laughed gently. “Oh you know you are.”

“Ah, well I’ve made it 28 years, I’m sure I’ll be okay,” he laughed, nudging her back. “Oh just for me? Who would I go as?” he asked her, raising a brow. “Well, if you wanted me to be.”
“I’m never letting you drive me anywhere again.” She nudged him again. “I don’t know... i could definitely see you as Nathaniel Howe.” She grinned at the thought. “Oh that is exactly what you wanted me to say. Wasn’t it? Smooth motherfucker.”

“Oh it wasn’t just against Leo, it was any movie. They turned the lights off and I could never keep my eyes open,” he laughed, sticking his tongue out. “To a what? Like Comic Con? No. Never.” He smiled. “Well… I’m considered somewhat weird.”
“You should really get that checked out.” She nudged the human. “There’s always next year. I’ll buy you a costume and everything.” She laughed slightly. “Oh so you could be my kink.”

Nate laughed before sticking his tongue out at her. “The kind of teacher that knows people like me only fell asleep during those movies,” he joked, shaking his head at himself. “Now I am a hardcore fan.” He grinned. “You’re friends with me.”
“Wow. I am taking this as a serious crime against Leo and I don’t think we can be friends until you fix that opinion mister.” She grinned. “Have you ever been to a con?” She teased. “Exactly, so clearly i’m not into weird things...”

“Hey, I do not. I work hard. I take pride in what I do,” he fake pouting, huffing out a breath. “That you made me love and obsess over them? To the point I can’t imagine what I did before them?” he laughed, glancing to their hands when she did. “I don’t believe that for one second.”
“Not even the leo romeo and juliet? What kind of teacher are you?” She grinned athim, nudging the man again. “yes... i am incredibly proud of that. I changed you.” She raised a brow. “Well i have no idea what gave you the indication that i’m not boring.”

“Yeah, sadly, it’s why I read like a child. Who knows how I’m a teacher,” he joked, his breath visible in the air as he laughed. “I own that. I accept that. I still play those games way too much,” Nate grinned, taking her cold hand and rubbing it between his own. “Damn it, taking that back. I want to know.”
“You just put on movies all class.” She joked, knowing it would wind him up. “And i am so proud that i totally ruined your life with them, it’s honestly one of my greatest achievements.” She looked down, watching him hold her hand. She couldn’t deny, that was a nice feeling. Even if they still had a long way to go. “Nope. Never. Maybe i don’t have any, maybe i’m just that boring.”

“I am a generous man. It’s the boarding school, taught me morals” he grinned as she glared at him. “Clever child. It is only when you fall that you learn whether you can fly,” he said back at her. “Is that your kink?”
“Of course, is that about all it taught?” She teased, buttoning her coat up with a freezing hand. She smiled at his words though. “You’re such a nerd.” She continued to smile. “Keep guessing Harrison. You might never know what my kinks are.”
