Daniel did like going by the garden to see the plants, and it’s beauty. He liked nature, so when he walked by he heard the voice of another. Nodding his head as he spotted the grey pot she was gesturing to, he knelt down and handed the pot over to her as he made sure the soil didn’t go everywhere. “You got your hands full, need help?”

shifting the plant to grab the pot, only scattering a small bit of dirt in front of her, she carefully lowered the sprout into its new home with a grateful grin to daniel. “i’d love one, if you’ve got time.” with a wave, she gestured to the other, small sprouts next to her. “i think i was a little ambitious with what i could get done on my own.”

“Huh?” Evian’s gaze followed where she had gestured and it took a full second before he spotted the pot. When he did, his eyes lit up. “Oh! Yeah, of course.” He rushes towards it, having noticed the time sensitivity of the matter, though the container almost slips from his fingers as he stumbled back to her. Perhaps he was still a little tipsy from practicing his drunk precognition earlier. But hey, he’d caught the ceramic pot just before it hit the ground, and that had to count for something, right? He looked up at her, a wide grin on his face. “Oopsies. Close call, huh? Here you go.”

evian’s movements sent an involuntary chill through her, her features curling into themselves as she winced at the speed and seemingly carelessness with which he moved. a squeak escaped her as she watched the clay slip from his fingers, only relaxing once it was safely in front of her. dropping the plant in carefully, she quickly took the pot from him with skeptical glance. “don’t you think sitting would be more comfortable?” her tone bordered on pleading, very aware of how many breakable objects surrounded them.

“can you hand me that grey pot?” she gestured with her nose to the ceramic container just out of her reach. it could have been planned better, her attempt at gardening, as evidenced by the dirt crumbling from the plant she held in her hands. “pretty please? before i get soil everywhere.”

“You know, maybe I should just buy a hoverboard, these things are pretty cool.” He was doing circles around the other in the square, a grin on his face. He woke up at the crack of dawn to rent one, now, after using it for most of the day, Simon was considering just buying one. “What do you think, will it be a good investment or do you think I’ll be wasting my money?” 

julien eyed the hoverboard with some distaste, eyebrows furrowed skeptically. “can’t you just rent one when you want to use it?” it was pretty cool that someone was able to invent the boards, but he couldn’t imagine what kind of trouble the other would cause if he had one of his own permanently. “what’s the point of buying it?”

why did you come to nl? safety, primarily. it took longer for anything too dangerous to find me, but i didn’t want to put my dad at risk once they did. 

how are you dealing with the recent changes? whatever leadership thinks is best is what i will do. it doesn’t involve me, i just live here. i’m worried for the others who have to go out and fight these weird possessed things while worrying about humans, though. i don’t want them to think we’re weird or a threat.

what did you do before the change? studied, primarily. same as now. not very hard, mind you. i just work internally, stay out of trouble. 

why did you get into the role you’re in? i have no interest or aptitude for heroics, i’d much rather stay behind the scenes, away from the public eye. 

how do you like it? was this the role you wanted to be in? yes, it is the safest. ambassador requires too much speaking and, like i mentioned, saving people isn’t for me. 

if you could be in any other role, what would it be? if i had to choose another, probably ambassador. it seems to be the least draining of the others. but i really am perfectly happy as is.

how do you like your powers? i don’t, not really. i try not to use them, i don’t like making people do things they wouldn’t otherwise do or affecting their feelings, especially as i still don’t have them most control over them. 

how much control do you have of your powers? enough. not very much. i accidentally use them sometimes, when i don’t even really want to. so i just try to avoid language that might affect others.

what are some of your goals? i just want to graduate college at this point. i’ll figure out the rest after.
