It’s nice to see both of them interact. There is still some purity and happiness in the world.” She brought her attention back. “Yes, he does. She’s still very wary of vampires, though I don’t blame her in the least bit. One of my coven members often makes her flowers so she’ll feel less scared. Don’t tell her because it’s supposed to be a surprise, but Taewoo bought her a home with a large garden. He’s just finishing up the paperwork but I’m sure she’ll be thrilled to have a home just for them.”

( though typically the only person she was able to amaze was herself. ) “ thank you, ” she hums, her finger resting briefly against his shoulder to to lure the butterfly atop her digit, allowing them both to easily admire it’s bright colours, “ it’s so nice to see someone who appreciates nature like i do. ”

“Of course, dear. I think this is incredible.” The vampire grins, watching the butterfly with amazement. “How long have you been able to do this? How long did it take you? It always fascinates me when I can talk to other people who are like myself.” His eyes go from the butterfly to her, goofy smile on his face. “It took me forever to make a butterfly, but they’re my favorite now.”

   the warlock watched as mei embraced the wolf and cuddled up to him. her heart was so gentle and he wanted to protect her from all the troubles of the world, she was just like his little sister and she’d been through so much – he didn’t want her to suffer anymore and so seeing her with jesse made him grin. sebastian turned his attention back to yoobin, listening to her talk while he kept his face neutral of any expression. ‘  i don’t need your coven by my side nor do i need any of your help, i don’t need you all to fulfil my errands. i have jinwoo’s coven if i need a vampire but i have no need for vampires and same for a werewolf pack, taehyun had accepted me into his heart.  ’ he sighed. ‘  but i will help cole and amara, i remember how difficult it was for me when i first found out i had powers and i’ll always be thankful to seola for helping me and pushing me to learn how to control my powers. i’ll help for free.  ’

“I thought I’d at least offer. A show of good faith, as it will. But if that’s your decision, I won’t push it. My coven has been on edge with warlocks and witches for too long, so perhaps we will one day be at peace with each other.” She nodded, a small smile on her face. “If it’s any consolation, you’ve soothed a mother’s worried heart. They aren’t with me now but I’ll send them to you at the earliest convenience. Thank you, Sebastian. Just do let me know if you want monetary compensation. It really isn’t any trouble for me to pay you.”

I don’t feel that it’s fair to use that against either of you. I’m not...a bad woman, I do have humanity left in my thousand year old body. And I’ll let him know, he won’t mind. We’re hunting tonight in the mountains.” She watched Jesse and Mei, glad to see them both happy as the huge wolf licked her face as she moved into the apartment. “You may not have any interest in having a coven on your side, but that is an offer I can give you. But the reason I’m here is for the sake of my children, Cole and Amara. I’m sure you can understand as someone who has been a caretaker before that you want only the best for the ones you care about. Cole and Amara, their real mother and father were rogues.” She sighed. “They were left to me to care for and raise. They are...tri-brids. Wolf, vampire, and warlock blood. I’m sure you can imagine that I’m no help in that regard, I’m not magically inclined in any way and neither is anyone in my coven. I feel like I’m not...being a good mother by giving them a chance to learn how to harness their abilities magically.” A pause. “What I’m offering you is a truce between our coven and magical kind. Whoever runs with you. We will assist you in any way you need, whether with blood or errands or anything like that. In return, all you need to do is help them. And I’ll also pay you handsomely.” She nodded. “There will be no issues with you with my coven. Jaehee...no longer lives in our home, so you won’t have to encounter her at all. She lives in the Noctivagus manor. You two will never have to run into each other. I just...would really like to give Cole and Amara a chance to learn and not be scared of the magical potential they have. Amara had a panic attack when she accidentally set the sofa cushions on fire.
