Help my family move!

As of now, we are trying to move out of our small house into a larger house, but we need help to get a place and get some help to move. However, my mom and I are the ones that are more physically able to do the work, the rest of my family are physically disabled, the move will be rough on them.

As it stands, I am currently looking for ways to get extra money, I have opened commission to do on my free time as we pack, and I'm open to tips on my Ko-fi! If you are able, I also have emoji commissions for $1 per emoji!

KOSA has been introduced in the House.

It will be discussed in a hearing next Wednesday (April 17th) along with other related bills. There's a calling day planned for the day before (April 16th) to show just how much resistance there is to this bill, but you don't have to participate in that to tell your reps it's garbage.

It hasn't been passed in the Senate yet, so contact your Senators too!

Here are two email and call tools (be aware that the Bad Internet Bills tool will take you through a number of relevant representatives, most of which won't be your local reps. Stop KOSA will give you the option to call after you send an email):

Your representatives might also be available to fax via FaxZero, which is completely free - just make sure you click the confirmation links in your email to actually send your faxes. Guys…You should not panic or give up…Please continue to call or email your Senator.Keep signing the petition. Keep saying you are against Kosa.. We must succeed so that the Senate or House cannot pass the bill.If we give up, panic or do nothing, they will pass this bill.We have to do everything in our power.. We have to work hard that they did NOT pass the bill.

We have to stop this before they pass the bill.The more we do this or say that we are against Kosa bill, the more likely they will not be able to pass the bill.So keep calling, emailing or faxing that you are against this.Keep signing the petition..Keep talking..

Another KOSA update:

Sadly, it is true that today, 04/10/2024, KOSA has been introduced to the House BUT! That doesn’t mean it’s game over just yet!

Proof:

Friendly reminder that there is much less support for KOSA in the House than the Senate. And even if it does pass the House—God forbid, it’s not over until the President signs it.

Here is the phone number for the Committee that’ll be holding the hearing on April 17th (Use the top number), and of course keep calling your Senators & House Representative.

I know this is scary for a lot of people, but we have to keep fighting. Please spread this around & don’t give up!
