Cormac smiled and nodded at the former high lady. He always respected her and his father used to remind him that just because those who used to role were no longer in charge, they were still worthy of his respect and praise. Cormac tried to take that with him when he could. "I believe I have." He said jokingly, adjusting his jacket. "I don't like a day over a hundred and you... You don't look a day over a hundred and ten, m'lady." The lord smiled brightly at her. "And your daughter, she looks just as lovely." He said with a wink. Cormac laughed. "She is handling Winter with grace, I swear it." The lord placed a hand over his heart before he leaned back again. He chuckled and nodded. "It seems like we should, even though I'm unsure of what that means for the rest of us." Cormac shrugged. "This isn't a solution... We are still unable to return to our home courts. Nor is our power returned." The lord sighed. "I long for my ability to break whatever curse they've put on us." He admitted.
it was odd to amethyst to see all of those who she watched grow up, or knew of in neighboring courts, all grown up now. it made the fae feel old and she rarely felt her age. "it is good to see you again, comac," she returned, a pleasant smile on her lips. "i believe you have grown five inches since i last saw you."
amethyst chuckled, shaking her head. "always the charmer," she replied. "i can see why you would be trying not to freak out. but . . . its been legend for centuries, i suppose we should take fairytales more seriously, hm?"

@jadedblud / emilios & your choice!
The high lord smiled brightly before extending his arms. "Ah! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you." He chuckled as he reached them. "This is incredible. I thought this place was lost years ago." He explained. "My mother used to tell me stories about and here we are." The high lord of spring said happily. "It's incredible." Emilios nodded quickly. "I'd love to walk around, see everything. Are you busy, why don't you join me?" He asked. Emilios let out a light laugh. "Can you believe it? Dragons, too..." he shook his head and his eyes widened. "I didnt believe it until I saw one flying right over me." He explained.

@stxrslisten / emilios & your choice!
Emilios rolled his eyes and pulled his jacket from the nearest servant. "You were supposed to get this smoothed out. You know how important it is for me to make a good impression here. This could be exactly what the Spring court needs." He muttered quickly before slipping the jacket back on. "Return to your room and be ready when I call you." The high lord stated coldly.
He glanced up at the slight noise and frowned. "Can I help you with something?" He asked the other. "I didn't think I had a meeting with you, did I?" Emilios continued, crossing his arms behind his back. "Nonetheless, come in. I am about to head out soon so it must be quick." The high lord stated.

@jadedblud / tillie & your choice!
Tillie had been spent most of her time since arriving trying to collect her thoughts and all of her findings so she could present them to her inner circle. She didn't even notice the person that passed her. Although, she did notice what they dropped. The blonde rose quickly and bent down to pick up the item before running to catch up with them. "Hello! My apologies, you dropped this!" Tillie exclaimed to them with small smile. "I know I always hate losing my things, too." She rambled on before she closed her hands over the front of herself after handing them back their item. It looked valuable, important even... Tillie would be furious if something similar happened to her and no one even tried to return it.

@sparkledleaves / tillie & your choice!
Tillie had realized that the dusk court probably had a library... A collection untouched by any of the other courts for years. The excitement was enough to send her speeding towards it. She needed directions first. That would definitely help, plus she was also hungry and she could smell the faint aroma of an item she didn't recognize. She wondered about the food and the customs in the dusk court. All she had read about the court was limited and the possibility of learning more made her want to jump for joy.
"Oh. Hello." She said to someone passing by. "Could you possibly point me in the direction of that amazing smell?" The blonde asked. "Also... Do you happen to know where I could find the library? If there is a public one that citizens can attend?" She asked politely. "I appreciate it... So much."

@stxrslisten / malik & your choice!
Malik had enough of sitting around and waiting for the inner circle to tell him his tasks, it's not like they would truly trust him with anything. He grabbed his jacket and headed towards the main street. Eventually, he would have to befriend the locals so why not start now. He smiled brightly at them as he walked through the streets. "Oh wow, this is great." He stated. Malik was a natural talker and always knew how to make anyone feel comfortable. "This is a great shop you got!" He called out as he left. As he walked out, he saw a face he recognized. "Oh, I see the confusion wore off. Come, join me. I'm getting to know all the amazing citizens here." He said to them with a bright smile.

Tillie had already dealt with all of her books all over her room and not being able to understand what had happened with everyone. She was finally able to explore but the noise from the barn. The blonde frown and came face-to-face with Rhys. "Oh. Rhys. Are you alright?" She asked cautiously as she reached out for him. "Did you hit your head?" Tillie asked him with wide eyes. "I can look at it... Come over here, let's get you sat somewhere." She grabbed onto his hand and pulled him towards a bench. He could have a concussion but Tillie didn't have a lot of medical experience, only things she's read in book. Tillie smiled at him and reached up towards his head. She pulled her hands away. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to inspect your head without asking. I just want to make sure there isn't any bigger issues that we might miss." She said as she smiled softly at him.
waking in a place that was not where he recalled resting his head wasn’t entirely unheard of for the emissary, but he’d been on his best behavior and swore he’d done nothing to cause this loss of memory. slowly as his eyes began to focus, it became abundantly clear that there was far more at play than an abuse of substances. shock slips across his features when he realizes he’s in a barn. groaning, the fae lord rolls out of the dirt he’s found himself in and brushes everything off, glancing wearily at the animals nearby and inching himself out of the place. confusion riddles his mind, the more he takes in the less he’s certain of. his stumbling likely looks like mad man, but in truth this is the most out of sorts he’s ever been. struggling to reign in his feelings, rhys makes an effort to seek a familiar face, if there even are any. some force must smile upon him then, because despite his disheveled appearance, he’s relieved to spot the blonde fae from autumn. “ tillie ? ” stars, he hopes so. // @ofdieus

Emilios was looking for Luka and despite everything, his brothers wellbeing was important to him. He sighed deeply before pulling Luka into a hug. This was not normal, he thought immediately but he let go after a moment. "There you are." He exclaimed. "We have to talk." He said plainly. Emilios pulled away, giving his brother some space. Emilios cleared his throat and placed his hands behind his back. "I need us all together to discuss our next moves." He explained. "If you need to go check on... Iseul, that's fine. I need you back here with the rest of the inner circle. We need to plan on what we're going to do now that the dusk court has presented themselves to the rest of us. Spring must land on top." He said in a low voice.
to say luka had been avoiding his brother was an understatement, and he knew it would be noticed soon enough. when he laid his head to rest the prior night the spring lord had intended to find the other, but it seemed the mother had other plans. awaking half in a fountain, luka cursed everything he knew as he bound, half wet, through strange lands earning strange looks. his mind is a chaos storm of turmoil, and he has no idea who to seek first. it seems whatever sent them here was not yet done with the fox, for he turns a corner and finds his brother immediately. “ brother. ” relief lines his voice, as well as worry. // @ofdieus

The seamstress was trying to mask her fear. She had went to bed with a headache and even with her powers diluted, she knew something was off. When she woke up the next morning with her trunks of clothes flung across her room, she knew something was off. She had dusted herself off and collected herself before leaving her room. She recongized the red haired fae, Lux, who had spoke before Deyanira had the chance to. "Oh, I have no idea, m'dear." She said honestly. "I woke up with all my clothes outside of their trunks... It will be a mess to organize but that's a problem for later in the day." She explained, waving it off. She smiled politely. "Are you alright?" Deyanira asked, taking a step closer and took a quick glance at the other fae. "Did you get hurt at all?"
like the day she’d been brought to the fae realm, lux’s senses were overwhelmed and she was alone. fear was no stranger to the former human, but stars was it simmering out of her at a pace she wasn’t even sure how to manage. the fates must have had the smallest pity on her, she woke in a bed that was not her own but at least she were not outside. slowly, the newly made fae her way out of the room, and her senses determined she were within a new palace. confusion climbed alongside her fear, and when she heard movement it was lucky her fire had not returned in full force. gasping, turning, lux places her hand over her heart to still the rhythm. “ what is this place ? ” // @ofcourtfablesarchive

Kragen had come out to survey the lands.. To see if he could find a way for his court to escape but instead, he found some fae perched on the wall like a bird. He scoffed and shook his head. The general let out a laugh. "I can be wherever I want, you don't have any control over me. Not even in this so called dusk court." He stated. The general didn't really think first so his words probably came off a little aggressive but he didn't care. He didn't know who any of these fae were... Nor did he have any idea how they got here. "I'm not really one for words so if you are going to kill me for being here, at least make it quick." He joked, offering her a smirk.
Open starter for anyone ( @ofcourtfablesarchive ) who happens to exit the high ceilings of the palace and into an open courtyard in the Dusk Court.
Perched on the ancient stone wall of the open courtyard, Vesparia exuded an aura of predatory grace. Her lithe form seemed to meld with the shadows, her piercing eyes scanning the newcomer with a mix of curiosity and challenge. Her flowing white hair cascaded like a waterfall down her back as she balanced effortlessly, like a panther ready to pounce, her presence both commanding and enigmatic. A soft breeze whispered through the courtyard, but Vesparia remained still, a living embodiment of the Dusk Court's fierce, untamed spirit, eagerly anticipating the arrival of those who had breached her domain. "You shouldn't be here," Vesparia said, her voice smooth and unwavering, eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Nevertheless, welcome to the Dusk Court."

Cormac chuckled and offered the lady of winter a smile. "Ah, Amethyst. It's lovely to see you here. Of course, I'll join you." The lord of day walked over to where she was sitting. It would be nice to watch the horizon. "Tell me. How is your family? Are they handling the transition as the rest of us are?" He asked. "I mean... I'm currently trying not to freak out over a hidden court but I would never tell anyone else that." He told her with a wink. He crossed his legs and leaned back. "Now tell me, do you think they'll hold some sort of high leaders only meeting that we could sneak into?" Cormac asked jokingly.
@ofdieus @merxxki @stxrfclls ... amethyst & open.
the former high lady of winter sat upon a balcony, much like she had the night before at the capital, overlooking the scenery. in her 600 years it was hard to find things she had never seen before. she could say this place was something she had never seen before or heard of in centuries. she was sure it was the dusk court, surprise was still edvident as she looked upon the horizon with both awe and amazement. she knew so many would be running about but she was taking time to look. "come sit," she said, and while her powers were not to their fullest, her hearing was still inacted. "watch the horizon with me."

@wvrtrn / malik & carden
Malik tapped lightly on the generals door until he heard sounds on the other side. "Open up, general. It's time we go find out the mysteries that await us here." He said, shaking his head. "I also don't wanna stand out here alone, talking to myself..." He continued as he waited for the door to open.
"If you don't let me in... I'm gonna start spilling all of our little night court secrets.... The colour of our meeting room is purple.... The stars shine brighter in -" He stopped when he heard the door open. "Ah, thank you." Malik smiled at his friend. "Glad you decided to open it up before I continued. I was going to tell the hall about that night we got too drunk and I almost died dancing on a table while you did nothing to save me." Malik chuckled before pushing past him into the room.

Malik heard her laugh first then a frown crept upon his face. He must have missed her in the capital but now, there was no denying the familiarity of the sound. The lord of night sighed before turning the corner and when he heard her speak, her shook his head. "Ah, you must have... Because there's no way you're laughing that hard, I wasn't even telling you a joke yet." He flashed her a wink and extended his arms. "Come on, it's good to see you Juju." He smiled brightly. "Even though the circumstances are ... less than great. At least you get to see me." He said with a smile.
open starter for julissa dragomir; an outdoor area of the dusk court.
Julissa was the wildest card in any deck, in any court, and in any territory. it was why the moment she had puzzled at least where she had woken up that morning, which was miles away from where she had passed out the night prior. at first she had gapped at what the by passer had said, dusk court, the court of legends that were almost forgotten. then she had began to laugh first there had been small giggles as she still gapped, then it had turned into a laughter, then loudly she had passed and alternated her hands crossed over her head to her side unable of of fully register what was happening. "i must hit my head last night, oh for all the faiths." she muses.

@sparkledleaves / cormac & your choice!
Cormac glanced up at the sky and let out a chuckle. "At least we're out of the capital." He joked to the person sitting next to him. "It seems silly but I... I was starting to give up, on myself mostly." He shrugged. "Being a cursebreaker isn't all its cut out to be.. Especially when you can't find the one answer that's right in front of your face." He rolled his eyes. "Sorry. I'll stop the pity party eventually." Cormac continued. He stood up. "Well, we should find something to eat around here. Maybe see what they could want with all of us." He sighed. "Maybe even find out what the hell dragons are doing around here."

@stxrfclls / cormac & kerim
Cormac flipped through his book rapidly, trying to find some sort of answers. He wished he had a drink or a cigar to keep himself company. He scribbled down a few notes before glancing up. Someone was standing in the way of the dim light he was using to write in his book. "Would you mind?" He asked. "Out of the light please." He waved them away. "Unless you're here to discuss what you think we're doing here and how they've magically got us from the capital to here... Remove your huge frame from the small source of light I have." He spoke to the stranger in front of him.
