Day-off (ft. Seungcheol)

note: demon!seungcheol x reader, 900+ words

hey guys, i hope you are doing okay. its been a long time since i posted my joshua shot. now i’m back for seungcheol’s since it’s his birthday today. i hope you like this one cause this is a bit unpredictable.

summary: while putting your sealed condiment on a food you were preparing, you accidentally make a magical occult symbol and summon a demon

You were busy making ramyeon and coffee for your short break. You've been working on your project that's due in four days. Doing school work and reviewing for your upcoming finals was really stressful. Your sleep schedule was also affected so you thought going on a vacation with your boyfriend would be really nice.

You pour hot water on your cup of coffee and mix it. After that you went to check the pot of ramyeon you were cooking. It was humid weather but you were craving for that combination since you started your animation project. When the water is already boiling, you then open a pack of ramyeon and cook it. As you were about to add the seasonings, you decided to cook some chicken as well. You went to the fridge and grabbed a piece of breast and thigh then seasoned it with salt and pepper. Your eyes suddenly fall to an unopened condiment. Cumin seeds which can be used to spice up chicken so you considered of trying it out.

You remove the pot on the stove and replace it with a pan then add some butter. When the butter melted completely, you started putting in chicken. You let it cook for a few minutes and go on drinking your coffee.

When you were about to check your chicken, you accidentally knocked the pepper and cumin on the floor. Weirdly enough, the mess strangely forms something, a symbol, you thought. Despite being uneasy and feeling something all of a sudden, you shrug it off and proceed to cleaning. After sweeping, you check your chicken and when you were sure it was ready, you took it and went back to your room.

Hours passed and you felt your leg numbing so you stood up and tried to get rid of the numbness. You cleaned your table and then went to the kitchen to clean the plates you used. While doing the dishes, you smell something that was burning. You turn your head to your stove but it was off, even your microwave was dead cold until you hear a thud from the bathroom which is connected to the kitchen. You quietly put the plate you were holding and wiped your hands then grab the broom. You walked carefully, ready to hit the intruder with your defense when the door opened. You caught your breath and froze, a hand was on the door frame and smoke was also coming out. Your eyes were so focused and waiting for the person to come out when your gaze caught what looked like a horn. Then the person, or the thing, came out completely, freaking the hell out of you, literally.

 "Hey, sorry I suck at cooking. Don't worry, I didn't put poison on these." You joked.

You sat beside Seungcheol who looked at you as if you were the demon and not him. "You know I'm a demon, right? Poisoning me won't do anything. However, if you were lying, I won't be surprised if I see you in hell." He said, chuckling deeply.

You sulk on his words. "Anyway, how come you were in my bathroom? Like, I am so confused…" You asked him.

While eating he smelled something, "Is that cumin?"

You nodded to him. He stands up and search for the smell.

 Seungcheol told you how he got there. He said that he was on a day-off since it was his commemoration day. While busy preparing food for his friends, a portal opens beside him. He only wanted to check what or how it happened but when he completely entered the earthly dimension, the portal closed.

"Oh, I see. So, you opened the portal with this thing here. Mixing cumin and pepper alone creates the symbol and it is also the key to opening the door of hell for me."

You were shocked at his words. Suddenly, you remembered you accidentally spilled the condiments on the floor where it forms a figure. "You're not joking, right. I actually opened it? I-I didn't know it would lead to something like this…"

 "Hey Seungcheol, I’m really sorry again for bothering you during your commemoration day. I know it's like a birthday for us humans and I'm really sorry for ruining it."

Seungcheol laughs and walks towards you. "Hey, hey, don't worry, it's just an accident. Besides, opening the Sigil of Lucifer intentionally is also difficult. Maybe you were feeling negativity, that's why you instantly called me." He explains while patting you on the head.

You were sending Seungcheol off back to hell. The demon chuckles at your cuteness and apologies. "Baby, I told you it's nothing. Besides, you get to see me. Think of it as a surprise gift for me." Seungcheol smiled and hugged you. When the two of you parted, he stared at you for a moment and kissed your lips.

"Thank you for this day we didn't expect. Don't worry, okay? I only left hell for about fifteen minutes so I'm sure no one would notice that. Also, I get to have a rest for at least three hours and I’m glad I’m with you to celebrate this special event. Anyway, see you again soon and thank you for the food and for the surprise." He winks before going into the portal and disappearing completely.

Being in a relationship with a demon for a full eight years really stresses you out. You were really hoping that he being the underworld king wouldn’t affect the relationship you have.

It’s About Us (ft. Jisoo)

notes: jisoo x reader, tiny angst, fluff (if you think), mentions of jeonghan and soonyoung, 1.5k words, also had to proofread and my head ached from all the spelling and grammatical errors

Broken glasses were sprawled all around the floor. You were lying on the couch while the television's still playing in the background. You're eyes were focused on screen but your heart and mind were wandering, can't stop thinking about Jisoo.

'Won’t he come home tonight?'

Earlier that morning you discovered something strange on his white shirt. It may be cliché but whatever. His shirt strongly smells like some other woman. You also noticed some kind of a vague lipstick smudge on its cuff, fading crimson. You took it to laundry, picked up your phone and called him. Unfortunately, Jisoo wasn't answering. Your mind goes off. Is he cheating? Is he secretly seeing someone? Is he not in love with you anymore?

You tried to clear your mind and convince that it’s nothing. Until you remember something. You ran off to your shared bedroom. Quickly, you opened the big walk-in closet and went straight to his. While rummaging, a small, black velvet box with a ribbon came in sight. Your eyes started to get watery as you his promises was all in your mind. It seems like, every word stabs you.

While you were crying, you didn't notice the missed calls on your phone. Jisoo on the other side, felt uneasy. You weren't the type of person to miss more than five calls. Jisoo spun his swivel chair and looked outside the huge glass window of his office.

"Mr. Hong, the meeting already started few minutes ago, are you sure you don't want to attend?" his secretary asked.

He stared at the bright city lights below. "Just tell them I still have some paper works that's needed to be done...”

You went to the bathroom to calm yourself. You stripped your clothes off and hopped inside the tub filled with lukewarm water. As you lay down, you felt relaxed until you didn't notice that you already fell asleep.

The traffic jam was literally terrible for Jisoo. He was rushing to come home as he was completely worried for you.

His friend, Jeonghan called to check him up.

"I’m okay... what’s wrong?" Jisoo tilts his head to the side. He was confused of why his friend called so suddenly.

"I was just thinking are you and my sister doing well? I mean, I heard some screaming and then some broken glasses or something. Like someone was throwing it and it bothers me." he raised a brow. "What do you mean? Like there's a burglar at our house?" he asked, panic laced in his voice.

Jeonghan calmed his friend down. "I thought so too, but nah. I went to look and saw my sister watching so maybe it's the TV. But you sure you two are okay?" he reassures. "Hmm, we are."

Jeonghan was unsure however, he trusted his friend. He also knows that his sister is somewhat kind of moody. Maybe she was just tired and needs rest. "Okay, I’m just checking on you two. Anyway, I got to go since Soonyoung asks me for some help."

Jisoo went inside the house. Dropping his belongings, he calls your name. It was already late in the afternoon. The sun's shines the dim house.

Bottles and shattered glasses were all over the floor so he quickly cleaned. You were out of sight so he rushed to your shared bedroom but you were nowhere to be found. He took his phone and ringed your phone. It was nearby. He followed the sounds and saw it under the sheets. He felt miserable like his already cursing himself for lying to you.

'I thought you were going to propose her. What’s stopping you?' Soonyoung and Jeonghan confronts their friend.

You were preparing for everyone's dinner while the boys were left on the living room. You gave them privacy to talk as you don't like listening to others business. That was what makes Jisoo fall in love with you. You respect him the way he does it to you.

'Boy, you must tell her or I will, you coward.' Jeonghan teased. Your lover was on the other hand embarrassed.

The guy was preparing a surprise proposal. However, knowing you so much, you don't like surprises. You tend to keep everything simple and private between you two and your friends.

He was busy looking for a gift whole through week. He went to every perfume shop. He wants to buy you the perfume you were coming back and forth each time you went to the mall. Even the lipstick you really like. It may be simple but for Jisoo, you would look hot and adoring wearing both things you were working hard for so long.

He intended to spray some of the perfume he both for you to smell it. Unfortunately, it was a wrong move and you thought he was having an affair.

Jisoo sat on the edge of the bed. Almost crying and worried. As he was about to go out, he noticed the bathroom lights were on.

'Dumb me. How could I forget to look for you in the shower?' he thought to himself.

Hope was in his eyes as he slowly approaches the door but it was silent inside. He held the doorknob and careful not to scare you but what he seen inside made him almost passed out.

Inside the tub, you were unconscious. He rushed to you and picked you up from the cold water. Your whole body was pale and chilly.

He gently laid you down the bed and grabbed some towel to dry you. He wrapped you and went to get some warm towel. He wore you a pair of thick sweatpants he has and his oversized hoodie. He covered you with blanket and kissed your forehead and went downstairs to cook for you.

You woke up with a massive headache and bloodshot eyes. You carefully stood up and noticed that you were already wearing some clothes. You can't even remember how you got out of the shower.

As you were looking in the mirror, you heard various noises from the first floor. Hearing Jisoo voice made you felt better but there was a voice of not only one but three women laughing downstairs.

Quietly, you went down and was about to be mad when you saw two familiar back. They were laughing at each other and another girl approach your boyfriend and slapped him on the back of his head.

"Oh good, you're up!" someone said from behind and hugged you. You were taken aback and everyone was looking at you.

"Hey, baby... you okay now? Do you feel hurt somewhere?" Jisoo approached you but you step back. Soonyoung untangled his arms around you. Everyone’s silent, even Jisoo himself.

You inhaled and slapped him real hard making everyone stop midway. "How dare you come back here and bring everyone? After you cheating, you still had the nerve to come back, huh?"

Everyone gasped. Jisoo, on the other hand, was just looking at you adoring your angry state.

Jeonghan walked up to his friend and punched him. "You idiot, how dare you cheat on my baby sister! I thought you were going to marry her?!"

You whipped your sight at your raging brother. "Say what? Marry? Me? Jisoo, what's this? What are you talking about, Jeonghan?" your voice despite your tiny self, was very loud and mad but also confuse.

You inhaled and slapped him real hard making everyone stop midway. How dare you come back here and bring everyone? After you cheating, you still had the nerve to come back, huh?"

Mrs. Hong, who was already standing beside you, spoke. "He’s not cheating." your mom agrees, "yep, he isn’t though." your older sister said.

He took something from his back-pocket and kneeled in front of you.

"I’m so sorry if I kept this to you, darling. I was just preparing a surprise for you. I know you don't like those kinds of things but...”

You stood there dumbfounded. Meanwhile, Jeonghan has already calmed down and watch his best friend and sister. "You two better fix this real quick."

Jisoo glance at him for a quick second and smiled then looking at you once again. He slowly opened the velvet box. "Baby, I’m sorry if this took too long. I was convincing myself back then that you won't like surprises but I can't and ended up doing this. I tried to make it simple and private though with everyone. So, y/n, will you marry this guy in front of you?"

You stared at him and you’re almost teary. "But what about– what about the lipstick smudge on your shirt and the perfume? What are those?"

He stood up and said, "Darling, don't you remember? Those were what you wanted to get since last year. I bought it and tried it for you to see. Guess it was a mistake." he pout.

You smiled and then hugged him. "I’m sorry, honey. I’m sorry for not trusting you and yes, yes I will marry you, Hong!"

Everyone cheered but abruptly quiet down when Jeonghan walk towards you too.

"I hate to do this but I have to. Now kiss," and with that, he softly pushed you towards Jisoo kissing him.

Merry and Happy (ft. Mingyu)

notes: mingyu x reader, christmas, established relationship, mentions of seokmin, jihoon, jisoo and soonyoung, 900+ word, edited and proofread

“Yes, yes I know, baby. Okay, I’ll be there in two. Okay, see you later, I love you.”

 Mingyu hangs up his phone and called in his secretary. “Clear all my appointments this afternoon. I have to leave early ‘because something came up at home.” he said. Seokmin nods but a glimpse of confusion was in his eyes. “What’s the matter? Did Mrs. Kim call you? Is she okay?”

Mingyu took a glance to the other and smiled, flashing his beautiful canines. He only gave a small nod and proceeds to arrange all the paperwork on his desk.

“Hey, um, are you working 'til late night? Don’t you have anything to do this Christmas? I can send you guys off early today since yesterday’s business meeting was stressful, and you know? Its holiday...” he says and sat properly on his swivel chair. Seokmin gave Mingyu a wide-eyed smile and says, “thank you, boss. Actually, Soonyoung-hyung called earlier and says Jihoon-hyung came back from LA with Jisoo-hyung. Maybe we’ll celebrate together. Are you joining later?”

The latter only shook his head. “Maybe next time, I want to spend some time with my girl. Send the others our Christmas greetings, huh?” he replied.

 Mingyu was driving when his call with you came up to his mind.

 Your voice was laced with panic and worry. Fortunately for Mingyu, he already knows what’s happening to you at home.

“I tried to make some roast turkey but I totally forgot it.” your voice shaky and almost incomprehensible.

Mingyu only smiled due to his girlfriend’s failed attempt. “So what happened to the turkey, baby?” he asked you. On the other line, you were already pacing back and forth, biting your fingernails and sweating a bit due to nervousness. “It... it was all burnt. I’m sorry, I just wanted to surprise you. I only left it to play some games but it slipped off my mind.” tears started to form and your faint sobs was all that he can hear.

Mingyu coo you. “It’s okay, honey. We sometimes fail because of excitement, understand? Anyway, did you take it out of the oven? Go and take it, don’t forget to wear—”

“Ouch! I forgot the oven mittens.” you muttered. Mingyu chuckled from your clumsiness. He noticed that your voice sounds a bit far so he thought that you may be put down your phone. He heard noises so he decided to catch your attention and make sure your doing fine. “Hey baby, are you still there?”

You quickly picked up your phone. “Um, sorry 'Gyu, um, I want to cook something else but I don’t know what it would be...” you worriedly say and then bit your lower lip. He chuckled again from your cuteness. “You don’t have to do that baby, that’s okay.”

“But I want to give you some surprise...” you pouted. “Yes, yes I know, baby. Okay, I’ll be there in two. Hmm, see you later, I love you.” he decided. You cheerfully smiled and replied, “Okay, I’ll wait for you by the door. See you, I love you too, 'Gyu.”

 As you were sitting on couch and playing again, you heard your husband’s car and quickly stood up. Due to excitement, you forgot to wear your slippers and rushed to the door, opening and sprinted towards Mingyu.

The neighborhood was relatively quiet and peaceful since everyone must be preparing for Christmas. “Hey, 'Gyu!” you jumped and hugged your boyfriend in which Mingyu caught you. He wrapped your legs on his waist and went to pick up some paper bags and his black leather bag.

You snatched the items in his hands and said, “Let me help you with these things so you can carry me properly.” the two of you smiled at each other. Mingyu locked his car door and went inside the house.

 “Is this for me?” you asked your boyfriend.

You were sitting comfortably with a laptop on bed. You’re back leaning on Mingyu’s chest while his arms were wrapped around your torso.

Mingyu nods and placed his chin on your shoulder. “Yes baby, that necklace is yours. Do you like it?” he asked. You nodded enthusiastically. “Yes 'Gyu, I love it so much.”

 The two of you watched movies and ate the food Mingyu bought from his way home. You gave Mingyu a gift in which to his surprise, was a stuffed plushy of his pet, Aji. He then smiled in which made your heart melt.

 “This is so cute, baby... I love this, but how did you manage to hide this from me?” he curiously asked. You kissed his cheek and faced him to hug his waist. “Well, let’s say that I trained Aji to keep this a little secret...” you mischievously replied.

While having a conversation, Aji suddenly jumped up the bed and came to you. Mingyu watched you lovingly while you’re busy playing with his baby pup.

 ’There’s nothing more that I would wish but you by my side’

 You all continue watching until Mingyu felt that you were wiggling a bit by his side. He took a glance to your already sleeping form and brushed some hair that covers your face. He looked down at your arms and there was Aji, laying between you two. He came closer to you and slowly gave you a kiss on your forehead.

“Christmas will always be merry and happy with you, my love. I love you so much...”
