i like to believe that jays one of the tallest in the whole ninja team
okay. yeah maybe he was one of the shortest at first but he 100% got a growth spurt and just ended up taller than kai even WITH his excessively gelled hair.
kai stopped growing at that point so he had no chance in catching up to jay
hmm if i were to set heights
lloyd - 5'4 maybe 5'5 if i ever feel generous enough cause i believe in short lloyd. hes my baby. i say as if he isnt an adult man over 20
nya - 5'7 but wears boots that boost her up to 5'9 just to look jay in the eye on bad days
kai - 5'8
jay - 5'10 (projecting cause im 5’10 and jays literally me so)
cole - 5’11 but says hes six foot
zane - 6’4 (hes a giant. i like him like that. quote “zane youre… huge!” unquote)
like its either around sog orrr post-seabound arc is when jay got his growth spurt me thinks. and jays been shorter than lloyd at some point maybe when he first got hit by tomorrows tea
i just think its funny . imagine seeing jay with a beard, two inches taller than kai when they went their own ways after nya merged with the sea . emotional reunion and kai realizes. checks his shoes for platforms. checks again for insoles. stays horrified for the rest of his life
in my pov during.. skybound ? jays about the same height as nya but before that hes either the same height as lloyd or an inch or two taller
and then little by little.. he grew and grew. kais worst nightmare . treats jays growth spurt like the plague if thats even possible.
jay and cole gang up on the poor guy because theyre on the double digits while kais just having a one-on-one battle with himself
